It wasn’t terrible because Kakko isn’t worth shit to any team except NYR, and even then, his only value is that he was picked 2nd overall and “maybe he puts it all together some day”. He’s a bottom-six plug barely above waiver fodder in real value. There’s no such thing as a terrible offer for such a player. He’s a worse player than Kotkaniemi who’s a laughing stock.
You have some real nerve.
Consider the sequence of events.
This thread was started by a HABS fan, not a Ranger fan, trying to sell your spare parts to us for Kakko. There is literally no incentive for us to concoct a trade of Kakko to the Habs of all teams because we have some true attachment to your spare parts over those of every other team in the league.
If you didn't like the counter of our fanbase for what it'd take to trade him to the Habs, you could've just said in a nice way that there's no trade to be made. Instead, you have come in here with a nasty attitude to badmouth the player that one of your fans asked us for because we had the nerve to believe that trades are bilateral, not unilateral, and both teams with something of value to exchange have a say in what constitutes the deal.
Why don't you take your nasty attitude out on your own fan as opposed to trying to take it out on the player your fanbase asked for or the fanbase that dared to ask to be compensated in a way that benefits them?
