I won’t tolerate the blatant hypocrisy of other fans and the media for even a minute. Every team in this league has or has had players that have crossed the line, and depending upon who it is, and if they fit the marketing campaign this horse$hit league is trotting out at the time, they’ll either be called out, or simply ignored.
Last Saturday’s game was just the ultimate troll job on the NYR and a perfect example of how dysfunctional this sport has become. P.K Subban’s insights regarding fair play and injuries are as about a useful as Ted Bundy’s confessions the night before his execution.
I believe K’Andre has a sort of “spitting tick”, however what he did was wrong, and he has to answer for it. He’s allowed to make a mistake. As a first-time offender, one game should be sufficient… but I’m sure they’ll make an example of the NYR.
Where was this “righteous anger” from the Pens fans when ‘Cookie” was mauling other players en route to their Cups? NJ fans with Slewban and years of Scott Stevens? The Isles didn’t sign Martin and Clutterbum to score… Where were the champions of the NHL’s integrity when Stamkos (team captain) spit in the fact of a NYR during the ECF? How did the hockey world “miss” this?
