Key spitting is like Igor doing weird shit with his eyes like he can't f***ing see or something.Literally every single time a broadcast pans to Key during a stoppage, he is spitting on the ice like kind of hard to believe it was a total accident to hit Doughty right in the face, but it's like breathing for him so who knows
The only person who knows whether it was an accident or intentional is Miller. I'm inclined to believe it was accidental because we've never seen this kid behave badly before. It's not like this was DeAngelo or Avery. It's disrespectful as f***, but in the end it's a spit. Thousand things worse that can happen than spit.
Unless we're talking black death pandemic, then it's assault.
That stinks. At least 3 games that means normally.
and the league is always consistent when handing out punishments. It shouldn’t be any more or less.
That’s the precedent set by the league.
Yet he didI hope it was accidental. K'Andre has never seemed like the type that would do something like that.
Is it really an issue though (beyond whatever games he's suspended, which itself is quit minor)?Yet he did
Again, its an issue
Bad form IMO
Youre post says it allIs it really an issue though (beyond whatever games he's suspended, which itself is quit minor)?
In his 3 seasons and 195 games to date this is the first time it's happened (that we know of), so realistically what has occurred is one of:
a. Miller actually has a compulsion to spit on people, he just normally gets it out of his system by doing it off overpasses onto unsuspecting pedestrians, but he got held up yesterday and so couldn't make it
b. he has just developed a spitting compulsion and so this will be a regular occurrence from here on out
c. he suddenly realised he hates Doughty, and in a game that lets you punch, cross-check, slam people in to walls and more he thought the absolute best way to display that hatred was with spit
d. his situational awareness is shit and he spat at the wrong place and time
A is a problem only if he gets caught
B is a huge issue but incredibly unlikely
C is a minor issue unless we face the Kings in the SCF again, or Doughty gets traded to the East
D isn't really an issue as he's hopefully learned a lesson about time, space and spit...
If he is spitting all the time he could have reflux problems and sometimes that results in producing enough saliva to choke you and you are forced to spit without any warning.Literally every single time a broadcast pans to Key during a stoppage, he is spitting on the ice like kind of hard to believe it was a total accident to hit Doughty right in the face, but it's like breathing for him so who knows
Unless you're Steven Stamkos of course...It's disrespectful as f***, but in the end it's a spit. Thousand things worse that can happen than spit.

I think it's quite simple: Isles and Devils fans aren't pathetically obsessed with the Bruins.I'm actually dumbfounded at how there is a bigger uproar over this than the shit that Marchand did the other day.
Back in the day, when KAM was a rookie he scored either his first goal or assist/point, I don't know and TDA retrieved the puck and wouldn't give it to him because he liked to mess hard with certain guys on the team, amongst them was KAM and Georgiev. Trouba put him in his place for this particular incident that only came out when TDA got into a fight with Georgiev later on amongst other rumors. This was never confirmed by players but that is what was going around the beat reporters.*this post is accidental
PS what has TDA to do with KAM?
Jeez at least someone else has seen Igor. That time he got pulled for concussion protocol I said “but he always blinks his eyes like that”. People acted like I was making it upKey spitting is like Igor doing weird shit with his eyes like he can't f***ing see or something.

This. Because it’s a Ranger its a huge deal.I think it's quite simple: Isles and Devils fans aren't pathetically obsessed with the Bruins.
that was some pretty dangerous shit IMO. Slewfoots are so dirty. one day someone will really suffer a severe head injury or another torn up knee like Blais.I'm actually dumbfounded at how there is a bigger uproar over this than the shit that Marchand did the other day.
May not be till tomorrow, Rangers don’t play till Wednesday, so no reason to rush things. So when do they announce the suspension?
Kid can use a break and it will be good for him to watch a couple games from the cheap seats anyway.
This. Because it’s a Ranger its a huge deal.
IIRC it was only Adam Herman that reported this and Miller/his agent shot it down, and then Herman went into hiding for weeks after.Back in the day, when KAM was a rookie he scored either his first goal or assist/point, I don't know and TDA retrieved the puck and wouldn't give it to him because he liked to mess hard with certain guys on the team, amongst them was KAM and Georgiev.
