Total gigachud

I like Miller the player. Miller the person is a d-bag. I’ve been around him a few times and not in an autograph seeking or weirdo capacity. He was d*** to kids at a season ticket holder event for one. I hope they slam him. I’m always up for grit, physicality, and even some borderline dirty antics but spitting in someone’s face is gross and downright disrespectful. Not that it matters, but Doughty has and will have accomplished 100x more than Miller will in this league. If you’re that amped up then drop the gloves or knock him out of his skates on the next play.
I don’t think I’ve ever said a bad thing about Miller prior to todays shenanigans. I thought him being compared to a future Hedman by some was way over the top, but he’s been very solid on the 2nd pairing. I think he’s probably got another level to his game that he hasn’t hit yet. I’d like to see him be a little more physical given his size/strength.
“Sided with DeAngelo?” Yea, I didn’t like how that scenario played out, but what does that have to do with Miller? I thought the rumor of them having an issue was determined to be nonsense.
I didn’t say Miller is an awful human being. I said in my few experiences with him I didn’t like the way he handled himself. One of which was around kids, not adults seeking autographs or a new best friend. “One of the best kids on the team.” Oh yea, based on what? I don’t remember Laf, Kakko, or Fox spitting in a future HOF face. Hopefully he was just fired up and this was a one off as I’ve never thought of him as a dirty player.
Yes, that’s what I spend my free time doing. I’m pushing an anti-Miller agenda to people I don’t know on a hockey message board “historically” and for years. Go through this entire Miller thread and find one time before today when I criticize Miller as a person. Let me guess, nothing. My “agenda” is don’t spit in another man’s face. My agenda is don’t hurt your team in a playoff race especially when you just lost Lindgren,
Your comment is out there. Just block me. My comment was fair.
Ok? … I mean are young players drafted by the Rangers beyond reproach? Maybe he needs to mature a bit. This post says more about you than anything.
I don't think he even realized he was doing it. I know that sounds weird, but some of these guys spit so often, it becomes an involuntary action. People don't think about every time they blink. They just do it.I love Miller but if that was an accident he's the dumbest guy in hockey, a whole scrum going on around you and you can't figure out not to spit straight out from your face? Not buying it. He's getting atleast a game, probably more.
If Miller is suspended, I assume we’ll see Lindgren dress? Lindgren already counts against the cap whether he is dressing or not.
I agree....I think it's probable that Dougherty wasn't as close as he was when KAM's "involuntary mechanism" kicked in.I don't think he even realized he was doing it. Maybe that wasn't the case with Miller and he really did it on purpose, but that seems to be very out of character for him. He's been in a lot of scrums and has never done anything like it before, and from all accounts, there was nothing said or done that would have angered him to the point of doing it intentionally.
I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. For those who aren't, and think it was intentional, why did he do it?
Looking for a silver lining here. If K does get suspended does those games still count against the cap?
How so?This post says more about you than anything.
No, but in a hockey game, yes. When you're playing some players constantly spit on the ice. Again, not in ordinary life but during the game.I'll be honest I'm having a tough time understanding how it's possible to accidentally spit on someone.
So you're telling me he just goes through life spitting involuntarily?

I have no reason to not believe Miller. He has a track record of being a clean, respectable player. Don't know why anyone who is a Rangers fan and has watched him wouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt.
Agree, completely stupid. I am sure Kandre himself would even agree with that.I'll buy that it wasn't malicious and even that he didn't intend to hit Doughty, but failing to control yourseld and letting spit fly in the middle of a scrum when players are in your personal space is at best viewed as a really stupid thing to do. When his team was already playing 5D.

Yo, I just had a banger idea for playoff avatars.
Panel 1 - "part of one of the worst trades in NHL history"
Panel 2 - 0 games (over a picture of Tom Wilson in the penalty box)
Panel 3 - "eats tofu"
Panel 4 - 3 games (over a picture of K'Andre Miller)
Panel 5 - #93 Mika Zibanejad
Panel 6 - 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Basically, something meaningful about the player is 0 games and something dumb and innocuous is 3 games. You could do a lot with that theme.
We can always get creativeNice. Can you squeeze in a panel with 0 shifts over Schneider, or a panel with 0 shifts but penalty box time for Carpenter
Family? I want nothing to do with you freak. We've kept this family together through Stolen Puck Gate and DeAngelo vs. Georgiev Civil War. We are not going to be broken by doughty loogie gate.
Maybe he has ocd that causes him to spit at random times throughout the day no matter the consequences or who's around him .I'll be honest I'm having a tough time understanding how it's possible to accidentally spit on someone.

You know, you could have just written that last part. But you come up with some BS anecdote (which was some weak ass hearsay), saying he's a d-bag human, only to try to walk back on the statement in the next post, saying you never said he was a bad human being.Ok? … I mean are young players drafted by the Rangers beyond reproach? ^How so?
How do you know his story is BS and why shouldn’t he have the right to tell it and let folks make up their own minds. I don’t really have an opinion on the story’s veracity. Key comes across well to me from a media distance to be honest. You know, you could have just written that last part. It's literally what you said a post ago.
No player is beyond reproach, dude is very young, playing a highly emotional sport
Shit like this happens, he will learn.
What are you going to do?

Didn’t mean to trigger you, take carePray tell me, where did I say he shouldn't have the right to say it? I did make up my mind on his post and responded accordingly. Afaic idgaf about his little story.
If you don't have an opinion on it, then maybe stfu, instead half-assedly trying to defend his shitty take.
