Now Kadri knows next time he’s mad, just kneel on a players head instead of trying to make a hit.
It’s 100x more intentional, but comes with a much less punishment.

… what? I fail to see how this is on Sakic
Yeah straight assault after the play is ok but hit in game situation is much worse like wtf really???Now Kadri knows next time he’s mad, just kneel on a players head instead of trying to make a hit.

He took a measured risk with a player with a long history of stupid behaviour (especially in the playoffs). And it failed.
Kadri was only available because of his warts. Sakic chose to go bargain hunting instead of definitively trying to fix one of the most important positions.
Yup. 3 of 4 years now he has eliminated himself. I don't care if hes a bargain at 4.5. What good is that if he consistently removes himself from the playoffs and hurts his team who relies on him during crunch time? Time to move on and find another 2C. It was great Nazem I wont miss the toe drags.Yeah after that news, we definitely need a new 2C. The suspension risk is just too much with Kadri and his play has taken a step back. He'll always be one hit away from crippling our center depth.
Maybe we can package him for a good 3C? Because I doubt we can get a 2C back for him.
Expose him and/or trade him. Go get Danault.Yup. 3 of 4 years now he has eliminated himself. I don't care if hes a bargain at 4.5. If the Avs get eliminated, Kadri is gone. He hung his team out to dry, AGAIN.
Can’t afford to take the risk again next year.
Exactly what I think
I mean it's not that ridiculous. The only reason Toronto was willing to move their best valued contract was due to the fact that the guy is a complete liability in the playoffs. That's 3 of the last 4 playoffs he's screwed his team by getting suspended.I’m sorry, but that is a really ridiculous take.

Yup. Another year of JTC and Jost as the presumptive 2/3c.

Next time? Next time Kadri looks at the ref sideways he'll be permanently sent to George Parros' hidden lair of misbehaving gimps
Or change his last name to Wilson and he will just be fined for his boneless plays. Now Kadri knows next time he’s mad, just kneel on a players head instead of trying to make a hit.

He has a 10 team NTC. You can bet Buffalo, NY is at the top of that list.So trade Kadri to Buffalo. Win win. Kadri can have decent regular seasons and zero suspension risk.
Objectively false. You're rewriting history to fit your own narrative.I mean it's not that ridiculous. Rolling with Compher, Jost and Newhook (11 combined NHL) surely will be a better option, right? They're all 30 goal scorers. So trade Kadri to Buffalo. Win win. Kadri can have decent regular seasons and zero suspension risk.
