Kadri

My bet is Kadri is back for game 5 back in Denver on Tuesday. Arbitrator drops two games off.

I agree that eight games after all the other rulings this year is a complete joke.

I am not a big Kadri fan, but eight games for a hockey play, after giving Reaves two games, Kolesar zero games, Wilson two games. it would be pretty hard to defend in a court of law.

Just saw the Scheifele hit, if he gets less games than Kadri, then its a farce, cause it was pretty comparable, actually worse, as it seemed to be at higher speed.

By the time Kadri finishes his appeal process he’ll have already served his 8 game suspension.

The NHL has made a mockery of the whole arbitration process. There should be some expectation of a speedy trial so to speak.

Instead it just looks like the NHL is finding ways to ensure the arbitrator doesn't actually have any decision making power to make a decision they don't agree with. Which isn't what they agreed to with the PA in the CBA.

I bet Kadri and Sakic are losing their minds at this delay tactic bullshit, but don't want to say anything to distract the team during the playoffs.

I think a majority of people wouldn't have an issue with Kadri getting 8 if there was some sort of consistency. Reaves could shoot someone and still get less than 8. My one hope is that this fires up Kadri and he comes back as a viable 2c again. Jost at 3c and a motivated Kadri would make us unstoppable.

Exactly, if everyone would get bigger suspensions, Kadri is justified. Now it just seems silly. You see a hit like that in almost EVERY freaking game and it's not looked at twice.

Someone on the main board said that Parros likes "tough guys" but doesn't like rats and it makes sense.

I guess we all do, but it shouldn’t cloud his judgement. If so, he shouldn’t be the one who decides on the punishments. Parros need some reflection and think about why Kadri gets way more than any other. Because 8 could also be 7 or 6 or 5, but he choose 8.

Some referees will also like team A more than team B, but it would be terrible if it plays any role in their refereeing.

schiffy only got 4 games lol... anyway sayin kadri is not targeted anymore...
I mean, one has a long history while this is the first for another. That has to play into it I'd think. If we're gonna get mad over favorites Reaves suspension is the one we should be comparing Kadri's to.

I actually thought they got this one and Kadri's right personally, but they whiffed on Reaves.

I think they overshot Kadri by a game. Maybe 2 but overall they got Kadri and Scheif's correct.

i think there is a timeline consideration which comes into play when u are a repeat offender. kadri has had a clean slate since 2019, so i think that repeat offender thing should not have mattered in this case... may those in the know clarify for us please...

ps. also i have no issues with the bans/fines or lack of them as long as there are set guidelines and rules which when an incident happens us as fans can follow and understand the process. Unfortunately this and reffing in the NHL has no rhyme or reason and its done out of ones ass (Perros/refs). Unlike other sports were refs have to explain the shit but pivotal calls they make, we get nothing in the NHL

Repeat offender status only affects your pay.
