Juraj Slafkovsky - Year Two

Where would you prefer Slaf spend his 23-24 season?

Does the Tage Thompson and Slafkovsky comparison hold up? It took 3 years + 1 injured year for Tage to perform while his first 3 years were mediocre?

That’s his best game in the NHL so far.
Ok so I'm not crazy. Thought he looked really good in the second. Still doing slaf things but hopefully he'll grow out of those a bit

I doubt it's all that common for guys to actually be hurt by being "rushed". People just assume that every player who plays in the NHL at an early age and then doesn't have a good NHL career was hurt because they were rushed. But that assumption is more then likely to be wrong in most cases.
This rushing/ruining thing is just nonsense.

Nothing. He's played just a bit more than half a season in his career. It's just the "HF experts" being impatient as usual.
If this team didn't have a history of failing to develop 1st round picks, I don't think you would see much complaining here.

Ngl, I'm one of those who wants him in the AHL. Just for the added reps + lesser competition.

Glad to see he had a good game though, I taped it so gonna watch the replay soon!

Byfield and Lafreniere are starting to look good so it seems that it's the season for redemption!

The fact that he was more 'visible' today just exposed even more all his weakness imo
and he also got leveled 2 times during the game, pretty much the same Slaf as last year, I dont see any improvements at all.

3 games in a row now where he played his best game as a pro, it has finally clicked for him and his linemates are starting to trust him to make plays.

It's really important to watch the games, because stats don't tell you everything. For example, having watched the Boston game, I know this person is completely full of shit. If I hadn't watched that game I'd have to take their word for it. But now I know what counts as ''clicking'' for this person, and can safely disregard their opinion from now on. You won't find that in a box score.
