Unless we get something that knocks our socks off,,Miller should not be moved,,he is the last I'd move....Pearson,Chaisson, Dickenson,Schenn,Myers, should all be moved asap...

Again, I’ll take the younger better producing Marner for 3 more years after this over Miller for one.
I'd take Miller every day and twice on Sundays over Marner. Marner turns invisible in the playoffs. JT is a warrior and steps up his game in big games. He's the kind of guy you win with in the playoffs.

I mean… ya… we all want those players traded (exception maybe less so schenn, add poolman instead). But the issue is you won’t get anything for them. If anything we will have to add sweetners or incentives to move their contracts. Which how does that help us?

Chiasson could be a cheap deadline deadline.

Exactly what has Miller won in Vancouver?

I’ll take; More Playoff Series than the Leafs in 15 years, for $1000.

It’s safe to say Miller to leafs makes no sense… the return will not work out for both sides.

I think this will drag into the offseason. Miller has out played any adequate return for this deadline. Take it to the offseason where more teams/options will open up.

We are beating a dead horse here.

Rangers fans don’t want to include Schneider in a deal. Would rather not have Miller

Nucks fans only want a deal with Schneider in it (rightfully so imo)

Our fan bases won’t agree to a trade on here lol. Give up on it
Since I like your avatar so much, ok, will do

I really don’t get why Nucks would trade him now

The reason is, IMO, to get help on defence. Specifically a right shot D man who can actually defend, which is why Canucks fans are so interested in Schneider.

But yes trading Miller isn’t necessarily the solution to this problem. IMO Boeser is more likely to be traded to address this issue than Miller. Rutherford has already stated that he wants a faster team and Boeser isn’t exactly fast. Plus, although Boeser is very good, he’s not nearly as good as Miller. Trading Miller would make the Canucks wayyy worse instantly. Trading Boeser on the other hand wouldn’t really move the needle much to me. But we have Garland who can easily replace Boeser on the PP1, we have Hoglander and Podkolzin who are developing as wingers, and defence is so much more of a need to me.

Your Worst Nightmare
Justin Holl + Topi Niemela + Roni Hirvonen + 2022 1st rd. pick (top-10 protection) for JT Miller (50% retention)

I think the Canucks should have no problem getting one of Knies/Niemela + a 1st rd. pick from Toronto when the dust settles. The hard part would be getting both prospects and the 1st, which I don't think they will be able to pull off. I think they settle for a lesser, but still pretty high up the list prospect and maybe some extra stuff.
