Sorry! All this ADC talk has me wondering if Norris is progressing nicely with his recovery because we'll need him 100%.
Wasn't he basically able to play if we made the playoffs?

As long as there is no news on a set-back I am happy at this point!

He is going to put all his naysayers on notice this year. He is far better than most on here believe IMO and will be a huge part of a complete team.

Hoping hard for him being healthy. He's a massive part of the team.

It absolutely does.

Unbelievably risky contract. Another Dorion unforced error.

Hopefully it works out because if it doesn't we are very screwed.
It is certainly hard to see a path forward for this team without him being healthy.

Not sure what concerns me more, Norris' shoulder or the likelihood of one of Chychrun, Zub and Chabot being out injured at any given time.

Hard to say it was a risky contract IMO. Had to lock him up and the contract isn't bad at all.

Will be a steal going forward!

one thing that is not talked about is the key development time he is missing

I really hope this guy makes it cause we need him

What do you mean by, "Hope he makes it?"

He was already at least a good #2C before the injuries.

Can skate, played PK, good in the dot and a lethal shot. He checks a ton of boxes.

Part of me thinks if we Pinto really develops or if we draft another C to push Norris, I can see him on the wing

He’s seems suited to do so.

He is by far our best defensive forward, he should be leaned on as a defensive match up C.

Still not cleared, and won't be playing any pre-season games?

Don't get a good feeling reading that.
Its a setback
Laughton would be nice insurance can play W and C
Pius Suter would be cheaper C depth but not the player Laughton is.

It's odd, because in the article that Brassard himself wrote, he quotes Norris saying the goal is to be 100% for the start of camp, which Norris follows up with saying he want's to be ready for the start of the season and there should be no problem doing that. I'm not sure why he wouldn't be playing pre season games if he's 100% for the start of camp and started skating a month ago.

Ruling out preseason games two months before the preseason is a little alarming, if that is in fact the case.
