What's funny is that the media in this city will just gloss over it.

"Safe to say you'd rather have Norris in the lineup than out coach?"

"Physical contact in an NHL game? I mean that sort of thing just can't be foreseen."

Completely idiotic to have him back out there in the first place.

Everyone went out of their way to meet with many doctors in order to not have surgery, rather than get the needed surgery and miss the entire season.

The season has been over for months. This reeks of an organization trying to bring a player back to win games down the stretch and save their jobs.

Of course Norris is going to want to play and try and get back in the lineup. This is on the medical staff and management of this organization to make the right long term decisions and not act like selfish assholes, yet here we are.

Heads should roll because of this. Unbelievably terrible management of your assets that you allow this to happen two years in a row to different players

When it becomes a choice between rehabilitation and surgery... it's the player, NOT the management that has the final say.

If your employer suggested that you should have surgery rather than rehabbing a (back) injury... would you listen to yourself, or your boss?

This along with Guerin saying Gustavsson was out of shape. Yikes.

New ownership needs to clear it all out.

How do you make the same mistake with Norris and Pinto. Unbelievable.

they did it to Karlsson too and ruined him for awhile.
