I've been losing interest steadily over the past 5 years

Me too. Used to have every single sens jersey. Now I'm wondering why I would ever get the reverse retros because I no longer wear or care to show off sens jerseys.

I used to strictly wear sens caps. Now I'm wearing a soccer Canada hat or a Nike hat.

I used to look for anything sens related. Now I think it's just tacky.

I still watch every game, but I used to be glued to the tv. Now I'm focused on my phone or in the other room only running in when I hear the announcer get excited.

If there's a re-injury here because they are forcing him back early I'm going to lose my mind.

I'm not a doctor (understatement of the century) but the fact he isn't taking face-offs is a massive red flag, imo.

Is there other comtext like Giroux/Tkachuk taking the draws strategically like they do for Stützle?

Seems pretty injury related to me. I do think occasionally prior to injury Tkachuk or someone would jump in and take a face off with Norris to the wing but this definitely seems like Norris isn’t ready

No lol wasn't Norris decent at faceoffs?

I agree. If his shoulder can't take faceoffs, how's he gonna throw a hit or take a hit, or fight for the puck infront of the net, or go into board battles?

If he can't pull and push in different directions, then why is he back?

I am guessing that the not taking faceoffs is pre-cautionary. I have heard a ton of NHLers talk about how hard it is to come back from an injury, let alone an injury prone shoulder. Once Norris gets hit and gives a couple of hits and maybe plays a couple of games he might feel healthy and ready to take faceoffs again.

I wonder what precautions they are taking when he gets bodychecked into the boards.
You ever get injured doing something and then for a little while there is a fear that the thing you did will injure you again? I broke my femur when I took a bad spill on some ice hidden under snow. For the first little while when I walked on snow again I had some fear of it. Maybe it is a specific movement related to face-offs that caused the injury and he is trying to avoid that particular movement until he's sure. I doubt he would come back unless everyone thought he was okay to play. This team has made a long term investment in Norris.

That's literally me. Al thought I was purposely skipped a good 15 odds games so far

This would never happen back in the day. I cancel any sort of plans to watch the whole game

You guys gotta remember his shoulder injury was specific to the movement of taking a faceoff. That's why he is back but not taking faceoffs. Duh. He isn't going to reinjure it another way(or at least this is highly unlikely).

Finally maybe now they move him to RW. Next year pinto can take 2C or maybe Greig eventually.
Just something I’ve wanted to see for a while. At least as an experiment so he’s always over there in his scoring spot.
