Lets hope he keeps this up. This is the Anderson that CBJ fans said that TB had now answer for. And this is the Anderson who looked unstoppable in Game 1 against the Laffs. Just keep it going, big man.

Andy going on a heater at the right time would be huge.

Really glad he was able to push King King off his shoulder last night. Well deserved, and a reminder that this group can score by committee - as cliche as it sounds.

I've liked his game all along. Speed and size is a handful for other teams. Teams always know when he's on the ice and hand-checking doesn't slow him down. Nice two goals but I still think we'll see more out of Anderson. Some of his rushes will lead to goals, some of his hits will wear down opponents. He'll never lead the league in scoring but he's a great asset to have.

We' actually have our own Tuch. Literally lol

If he can develop like his bro then we're going to be in business. Having both Anderson and Tuch Jr in the lineup would be a pain for opposite teams to play against

if Luke is anywhere near Alex it would be a god send. Very promising freshman year from him. Pleasantly surprised by his production. Hope he can continue to improve.

When he finally kicked off his NCAA season this past year what I saw was less speed than Alex but more commitment to contact. Alex is a bit slippery, uses his speed a lot. Luke seems to go out looking for heavy hits and tap-ins. Different, nonetheless impactful kind of player. We'll see.

Glad he finally potted a pair, hope this starts a streak of games with some offence.

Yup, I've been hard on him the past week. Scoring the OT winner has to be a big confidence boost for him. Love the hand eye to knock that puck down and him looking around a couple times to check if Byron was there and if Byron took the other side of the net.

well said. yeah doesn't seem as skilled and fast but still moves well and actually possesses solid offensive skill. Looks to have a good shot.

I don't agree that he's supposed to dominate every night, don't think I would have posted that.

If he's injured everything's a different story. But what is your source that he's injured?
I think the injury status has been mostly speculation, nothing confirmed. However he was wearing a splint or bandage on his left wrist during the post game interview.

If last game jumpstarted his confidence it will be huge for us. The guy is unreal when he gets going.

oh, thanks for sharing the image. If it's a wrist problem, that could certainly explain his difficulties with making and receiving passes, and handling the puck.
Certainly doesn't explain the fact that he doesn't even look for open player. Bandage on his wrist or not, he has tunnelvision no matter what. Last game was his early season luck in a nutshell. Don't get excited. He still can't play hockey.

I don't agree. Yes, he does play a different style of game. I do see the tunnel vision you're talking about however his tunnel vision leads to Josh crashing the net, making big hits and sometimes giving energy/momentum to his teammates.

I'd take Anderson on my team way before a perimeter player.

Yeah, having 1 anderson on your team is perfect, if you have 6 you don't make the playoffs. His iq is just very limited.

A wrist injury can have a big impact on a player.

But Armia and Eller's usefulness prove that even players with tunnel vision can be useful in the right roles.

His breakout last night is extremely important for the remainder of this series.

It’s like most of the Hab forwards now feel like they can score goals at critical moments.

LVK have their work cut out for them.

I'm not ready to call last game breakout. Sometimes empty netters get a player going. But other times they're followed by a continued dry spell until the next empty netter.

How often will the mishandle the puck for a tap in to an empty net? How often will he get a 2 on 0 when a dman goes for a changexat the wrong time?

Still, I like that he was going to the net all night, and his hitting and physical presence. I'm weary that he'll be able to produce all that much offense over the next 7 years and that he'll hinder whatever line he's on offensively. I have hope he can improve his defensive positioning. One of his strengths seems to be his attitude/character/coachability/work ethic.

He needs to lay into McNab at about 40km/h this game.
