The Leafs traded Kasperi Kapenen, a guy who basically scored every important point and goal, for Finland and scored a goal almost, almost as impressive, as what my man JOSH just scored.

You don't trade guys like this, especially a cheapie like kk, and you don't heap abuse on a guy like JOSH, who in my mind, beat the Leafs.

This guy is the night train. Man, give me a few of these guys.

Epic historic goal, in front of a Justin FAKEDOUGH 3500 FANS.

Hats off to the players, for putting up with this b.s.

The production is part of it for me... But it's the effort. Maybe it's not effort and it's IQ. I have no idea. But some games be just skates his ass off and others you don't notice him at all except for finishing his checks or giving the puck away defensively.

He needs to drive the net every game. It's either going to create a chance or make the goalie start thinking cause he won't want to get hurt.

Anyway good showing from him to tonight. If he could even show up like this twice as much, I think I would be thrilled.

Dude certainly loves multi-goal games. I think that's his 12th or 13th this season.

I had zero issues with KK-Anderson, but both need some play making skill to compliment them. Moving over to Suzuki’s line was exactly what he needed. His first goal was everyone zeroing in on Zuks and CC, and the winner was everyone collapsing on CC.

He drives the net and is physical 90% of the time, but he lacks creativity. But he’s a pain almost every game.

If he had more hockey smarts he would be unreal. Has all the tools but will be limited to a 25g, dman smashing, penalty killing PITA. Great player, aren’t many like this around.

I disagree but I will always hope he proves me wrong because when he does it occasionally - he's exciting to watch.

That contract was never a mistake. And I'm not just saying this because of tonight.

If he had the passing ability and the "hockey IQ", he'd easily earn 3 more millions.

It's ridiculous to think that he should have it all.

Just like with Tofu, if he had the speed, he'd easily earn 3 more millions.

Habs haven't had this kind of player in decades so I will forgive their cluelessness this season. Hopefully they figured out how and with who he needs to play to get the best out of him for the future.

Safe to say he's clutch. I don't need him to be super consistent to love him. Not many guys in the league with his ability (speed, shot and physicality)
 
I wish he gave the effort he has since game two of the Vegas series every night. When he does, he’s damn near unstoppable with his combo of size and speed.
 
I trained Frank Mahovlich, after his hockey career was over.


Dropped his ass, guy was a nut.

Talented on one day, next day, woof, like, nuther planet.

Toronto had Sittler, my friend, Salming, heck, they had nothing.

Sunrise, to sundown... SUN deen.

Worst orig six team of the six.

Toronto, yes, cursed, quite a bit, they just are.

I think, the coolest city in north america, should convene and just ditch the toronto maple leafs.

how cool would that be..... Never happen cause people are just pure sheep, i mean, they agree to take a SIN number.


But if TORONTO people, actually had some conviction, they would just all show up at the ACC and tear up their tickets.

It would be so cool. but as such..... l

I think the coaching staff should work on some breakouts where he could cheat a little, with his speed he should get a couple of breakaways per game.

Drive that net big man. He lights the game up when he goes full Power Horse.

He repeats the same move over and over... gets to the net but usually doesn’t finish. Tonight he had CC there get to the rebound first and then gave a great 2nd effort.

At some point every player on the team will ask Dom, if they can play on Suzuki's line!!
