Great game coming in for a tough game. Hope he can keep it up. It is about time we had a rookie sensation in the playoffs again.
Easy to lose a trade when you take on a minor league goalie for $5m in cap that goes beyond this year. Even worse when you give up picks to give up an equally bad yet cheaper goalieMeh he got assets with Murray, one of which was used to get Schenn so it's not to bad.
Hard to lose a trade when you give up literally nothing
I love Woll but the franchise goalie talk is a bit premature. The excitement of the Leafs maybe, possibly having drafted finally a stud franchise goalie is awesome.
He will carry on from Felix Potvin, and, he must go further.
We did with Knies but that bald asshole decided to go full WWE and take him out.Great game coming in for a tough game. Hope he can keep it up. It is about time we had a rookie sensation in the playoffs again.
You just jinxed it for Hill lolIt's the same thing Vegas is experiencing with Hill. Bigger, calmer, smoother goalies than what they've had.
Not every game will go this well, but the consistency is a breath of fresh air
Is Dubas the only GM who deserves to get flak for utilizing a player that was in the organization from a previous regime, or do you hold everyone to that inane standard? So after 6 or 7 attempts at finding us a goalie, Dubas and his followers may end up having to rely on one of his predecessor's draft choices.
How absolutely perfect.
Yea lmao that post did not age well. You just jinxed it for Hill lol
No, Dubas gets flak for trying and failing to find a goalie for 5 years when the answer was under his nose.Is Dubas the only GM who deserves to get flak for utilizing a player that was in the organization from a previous regime, or do you hold everyone to that inane standard?
Would be nice for Lou to have done at least something. So after 6 or 7 attempts at finding us a goalie, Dubas and his followers may end up having to rely on one of his predecessor's draft choices.

Pretty sure Woll needed development time and wasn't going to step into the NHL at this level 5 years agoYea lmao that post did not age well.
In the context of game 3 it made sense

No, but he could've been given a chance this year instead of shuffling the chairs on the overpaid goalie titanicPretty sure Woll needed development time and wasn't going to step into the NHL at this level 5 years ago
Yea, the whole tear down and tank to the playoffs in 2 years was definitely overrated.Would be nice for Lou to have done at least something.

Glad Dubas hung on to and developed him.No, Dubas gets flak for trying and failing to find a goalie for 5 years when the answer was under his nose.
I'd say he developed despite Dubas.Glad Dubas hung on to and developed him.
Injured.Yea lmao that post did not age well.

What do you mean "hung on?" Was he in some trade rumors or something?Glad Dubas hung on to and developed him.
Dude your sourness emanates off the screen.Would be nice for Lou to have done at least something.
And if he went into the season with a brand new unproven rookie with the rest of the team in win now mode, I can guess what the posts from you and others would be?No, but he could've been given a chance this year instead of shuffling the chairs on the overpaid goalie titanic
If you give me the choice of an unproven rookie for $800k or broken ass Matt Murray for $4.7m, I'm taking the rookie every single timeAnd if he went into the season with a brand new unproven rookie with the rest of the team in win now mode, I can guess what the posts from you and others would be?
He was given a chance... after Dubas acquired a broken, shitty goalie. And then after Kallgren was given every opportunity first. He was given a chance in the regular season and did really well.
But he earned the chance with his stellar AHL play and growth. Last year he wasn’t this good.
Putting him in an NHL role to start the year wouldn’t have been smart
Like when he went into the season with the guy that had just won an AHL championship and was the goalie of the year over a 38 yr old career backup and all the Hans lost their minds. The fans of this team will never change. And if he went into the season with a brand new unproven rookie with the rest of the team in win now mode, I can guess what the posts from you and others would be?
Sparks and McBackup both suckedLike when he went into the season with the guy that had just won an AHL championship and was the goalie of the year over a 38 yr old career backup and all the Hans lost their minds. The fans of this team will never change.
