He’s played well all year, including vs Tampa.

It's the same thing Vegas is experiencing with Hill. Bigger, calmer, smoother goalies than what they've had.

Not every game will go this well, but the consistency is a breath of fresh air

Understandable given his experience but Dubas could have gone with another one year vet to play with Sammy. Leafs also need to look into another #3 (preferably someone on an ELC).

Meh he got assets with Murray, one of which was used to get Schenn so it's not to bad.

What I love about Woll's game is that he is very calm and stoic in net. He doesn't seem to panic and swim.
Really impressive tonight, if he plays like tonight, won't be surprise if he wins 11 straight, lol.

You won't get a fast response from mess on this one, he's currently mourning the Leafs win no doubt.

It's def great to finally have a goalie who is not spasmatic in net.Havent had one since Freddy was good.

Woll is always in a square position and sucks up pucks like a vacuum.

So calm in the net, and the puck just sticks to him. Feels like almost every goalie we have, good or bad, gives out some crazy rebounds, and he just swallows everything.

He's got an uphill battle the rest of the series, but whatever happens, he's got a bright future here. So glad we took our time with his development - awesome to see a homegrown goalie prospect succeed

Yep, I’ve said all along we should have started the playoffs with him. Sure he didn’t have much of a resume but what he had was fantastic. Go with the hot hand goalies are voodoo after all. If he is having a lights out season just go with it. Murray is a great example, had a great couple of seasons and then meh. Too bad we may have missed that type of season with Woll.
