does the team that gets him, almost feel obligated to trade into the 15-25 range to take zach phillips after seeing the chemistry they have?

His stature reminds me of Spezza. Not saying their games are similar.

Not really, as their draft doesn't really matter and is a waste of time as a whole to begin with.I love how Russia still drafts these guys.. They waste their picks.
I feel like it's the other way around. If you plan on drafting Phillips, you should be trying to find a way to get Huberdeau. Watching this Mem Cup really made it look like all Phillips does is look for Huberdeau when he has the puck, even forcing passes to him when he's clearly covered. It sort of seems like a Gomez-Gionta kind of thing.
I haven't checked the rest of the thread, so forgive me if this has been said already, does leading his team to the Cup and being named MVP now put Huberdeau in contention for the #1 pick?
I don't think so, but I'm sure there'll be speculation.
Maybe at least a top 3 pick now then?
A lot of people in the hockey world puts him now as a safe top 3 pick. I actually think he needs another year in junior which won't affect his development. Not saying he hasn't proven anything there but his style of play in junior makes him look like he is big and physical in the corners. At NHL level, that won't be the same game if he still has a 170 lbs frame. He will need to get bigger if he wants to play that style.
Panthers fans would really want Huberdeau over Couturier/Landeskog?
Can't speak for Landeskog, but I'd take Huberdeau before Couturier...Panthers fans would really want Huberdeau over Couturier/Landeskog?
