Was this not your question? "Can you name five highlights from his time as a Hab?"

Asked and answered.... I'm sure there's more.
Did you watch this video? I have seen it before. I don’t think you watched it, these aren’t remotely close to “highlights”. It’s a badly made compilation of Drouin moments by someone who doesn’t know what highlights are.

What are his five best moments as a Hab, can you name them?

If you don't call his 1st goal a highlight in his hab's career I'm not sure you understand what a highlight means, and how can you watch the last few highlights in this montage and not see them as that? Of course they're highlights. You know like the ones you see every night on sports shows everywhere.

I'm not going to argue with you, it's right there to see. You asked to name 5 highlights in Drouins career as a hab, this small montage has 6 from 3 years ago. If I even had the smallest of inklings to continue with this silly discussion I could find you more. But why bother?

An ordinary shootout goal and a few snap shots are not highlights.

I know you dont want to argue back, because this montage is garbage and now you’re stuck!

It’s perfectly simple: what are his five best moments as a Hab?

If it was the goals in that awful compilation then his career as a skill player is fraudulent. He has no skill.

You can continue this on your own. I honestly am just tired of wading through all this negative hyperbole that runs rampant on these forums. Most of it fed by emotional takes without a smudge of common sense. You may continue your hate without me. I'm refusing to be a part of it.

I asked for Drouin's five best moments as a Hab. If you watched that video you posted you'd understand why it doesn't fit the definition of the question -- apart from the goal against St Louis.

My takeaway is this: he's got a surprisingly low amount of highlights as a Hab. For a supposed skill player he's never managed to showcase his skills or hands. I think that reputation as a snakebit skill guy who is underperforming is false... it's much likelier he simply isn't skilled enough to do what he tries to do, and that's why he's so inconsistent and underproductive.

Why is that even some sort of gauge of good or bad players though?

With that logic, all the players that don't manage to excite you 5 times during their career are complete trash?

How about you rethink your absolutely biased scale?

Can you name five highlights from Drouin's time with the Habs?

It's a simple question. He's considered a skill player (he's not considered a grinder, or powerforward, or defensive forward, etc.), many people go out of their way to lament how he's underperformed relative to his talent, maybe some people even take it for granted that he's a talented hockey player with good hands -- can you point me to five highlights from his time as a Hab that demonstrates this?

Again, why is this a thing? You expected a star and you are disappointed? And now you try to fuel your disappointment in him?

Why are you asking for those 5 highlight moments?

A skill player's been with the Habs for coming-on six seasons now and nobody can dig up five highlights! It's an anomoly -- I mean, don't you find it strange???

I first asked because I was genuinely wondering what people thought were his five best moments (I couldn't come up with any). Now I'm insistent because it's been eye-opening -- not even those who have picked up his cause to defend can name them. I find it super strange. Don't you?

First of all, he's a playmaker, and you usually only get goals in highlights.

I'm pretty sure if I would have access to all the video material I would've easily found you, not 5 not 10 but 20 sequences where Drouin made a pass that no one else on this roster apart from Suzuki and Dach could make!

I'd love to see his five best assists. Or just have them named so I could dig them up. I want to see his highlights. That video the other person posted was not highlights, it was rather tedious and ordinary -- snap shots with little else happening, etc.

Again, no one claimed he was a superstar or something... What's the idea behind getting highlights plays out of him?

Do you think only superstar-level players can have highlight-worthy plays? This is getting weird now.

I want to see his best moments as a Hab! That's all I'm asking for. No one so far has offered or even mentioned a single highlight or noteworthy moment from his nearly six years with the Montreal Canadiens. The youtube video linked above does not qualify aside from, maybe, the goal against St Louis.

Highlight: Not being dressed as the Montreal Canadiens made their way to the Stanley Cup Finals.

You guys and girls are just wasting energy at this point rehashing the same points about Drouin. He'll be gone soon. *As I'm listening to "Another one bites the dust."*

This is getting farcical. It's like a genuine anomaly -- can anyone name his five best moments as a Hab? Should I ask /r/habs? They're really pro drouin, I'll have to re-register an account on reddit for it though.

I mean, someone linked a video and you're still not satisfied so you're clearly just unsatisfiable.

True...............but at the insistence of a chosen few, who still feel that this kid is a good NHL player, and he is not.
The few fancy dangles and assists are all too late in his 6 year career of terrible overall play.
It's not hard to see or admit, but..................
The End is Near...

Please watch that video (that's many years old now) and tell me if you think it fulfils the spirit of the question. It has his first goal, a slight deflection, it has a boring shootout goal, it has nothing special in it at all. It shouldn't have been introduced into the discussion.

I'm not asking for the impossible here. Can YOU name or identify five highlights from Drouin's time with the Habs?

I think we can all agree, there are NO 5 great hi lights, or moments.....there just aren't.
Seems like a good guy and all, every so often flashing some arrogance about the 2nd column that drives people crazy...
We are so beyond turning the page, his odd flashy assist, does not make up for him being Jo last man back hence the minus stat in every one of his seasons with the habs....

The End is Near, and it's best for the team and for the player.
Let's see what his next contract offer is............

But why? Why are you asking this question?

He's not making 10M$ a year FFS!

He's not paid to be a highlight real! He's not a star!

Why are you so obsessed with him delivering amazing performances?!

Brendan Gallagher is making more cash than him...

As terrible as he’s been (and he’s been terrible) he’s still pacing for about 48pts over 82games.

He’s going to end up signing a 1 year deal for a team down south with no pressure and putting up 60-70pts next year.

I'm not asking for amazing performances. I'm asking for someone to name five notable moments from the past five+ years.

Do you think I'm asking for too much? How about three? Including the current season, that's one every two seasons. Dale Weise wasn't a star but he had plenty of notable moments with the Habs.

But why are you asking for this? No one said Drou was a star or even a huge impact player...
