But why washed up Hoffman over Gurianov who has done potential?
I mean even though Gurianov had a nice pass tonight, I was disappointed in some of his turnovers and two missed open nets.
But then again it's good he's getting chances.

I feel like they will do everything to showcase Hoffman, if they don't, we will have another Drouin situation come next TDL. Let's face it, there will be a few injuries as well and players will be moving around regardless

Because JD produce more than Pitlick while being bad defensively. The perfect combo to keep the Habs scoring while losing games.
That can't be it,there are other means to ensure losing,as has been evident the last few seasons.

They're playing him to please certain media types (the ones that were livid about the punishment).

He's got 10 points in the last 15 games. They're playing him because he's producing more than Pitlick and most of our other forwards.
I get that he's unliked around here, but he had a few very good games recently. He's got some of his speed back and made great passes. Not sure we have a lot of other guys that brings what he brings on the team, even with all his downsides.
A guy like Farrell could end up replacing him at some point though.

I hate to see anyone with mental heath problems or any type of health issues for that matter.For just what he has done hockey wise for this team well that's another matter.Good luck to him in whatever he decides to do as long as it is not here .He has made more money that most of us could only dream about and hopefully put a bit away .

Not gunna sugar coat it. Guy was ass. Sucked almost every game he played. Didn't play with heart and it honestly seemed like he doesn't even want to be a hockey player anymore.
One of the biggest disappointments I've had the displeasure of witnessing in my time following hockey. What a sad waste of potential.
