Honestly, I wouldn't be opposed to it in a vacuum, but you are going to run into problems with people who simply don't have the breath to blow hard enough into one of those devices. You're also going to run into issues where people who, for example, use mouth wash with alcohol in it not being able to start their cars.I mean they could really easily reduce the amount of drunk drivers by installing breathalyzer in every vehicle from the factory and it would start to limit the amount of people on the roads.
I remember almost 5 years ago one manufacture was doing tests with having one in the vehicle that could sense alcohol, but seemed it was flawed if your passengers were all hammered.
