What happened to Florida? Highest scoring team in the league - all the firepower you cream over.
Maybe playoff hockey really is different.

Is it an accident that the Pens won two Cups when Rutherford promoted Sullivan and brought up all his muckers from the AHL? And Sidney became one of the top two way forwards in the league?

Once again you continue to put entirely too much value into a small sample size. Until you stop doing that, there’s no conversation to be had.

Shit happens. The best team doesn’t always win.

For someone that claims to be such a statistical genius you sure misuse them a lot. Coincidence?

He only cares about defense.

They won't play like those teams even if they had the players to do so because Tortorella openly despises that kind of hockey.

I don't know how anyone can get something as wrong as you've been about Tortorella from the day he was hired. Pure delusion.

Plus he just said on the Best Show Ever? That there aren’t many players currently on the roster who will be here when the team is competitive again

Tortorella's style isn't dictated by talent level. This is what he has teams do no matter how talented they are. This is who he has been for something like 15+ years. You're the only one unaware of this.

You got it wrong, the team was shit outside a half dozen players, Hakstol performed a miracle when he got that 2017-18 team to 98 points (that was a team that started AMac, Manning and Hagg along with Filppula, Weal, Lehtera and Weise). And he's doing the same with a shaky Seattle roster with no goalies. Now whether he can win with a talented team remains to be seen.

I was told Berube was an idiot. He says to y'all "kiss my ring or kiss my ass."

You know what isn't a coincidence? DH forever leaning on tiny sample sizes to make sweeping conclusions and being wrong. Just about every time.

Berube was an idiot. What he did years later after learning more elsewhere does not change his incompetence here. Even the sycophantic media was ripping him apart.

Hakstol was dragged to the playoffs despite his horrible ideas. The fact that you're denying claiming that coaching doesn't matter is a disgusting lie. You are lying.
