Definitely. Atkinson has been campaigning for Torts since the season ended, so make him put his money where his mouth is.

At least Torts has been here before in TB and CBJ.
And the press conferences will probably be more entertaining than the games.

A lesson they should have learned a decade ago but they stumbled ass backwards into Giroux (and to a lesser extent Carter)

And they totally pissed away both of their careers here.

Hextall almost did it but Provorov being a bust and Patrick getting injured really destroyed what was a roster on the right track.

If those two become the 1D and 1C they were supposed to be, a whole lot of things are very very different.

Bonne Maman preserves is the shit. Strawberry, peach, wild blueberry, blackberry… all excellent. Jelly and jam is for peasants.

Ok can we have a short view on what has happened in preseason. And what hasnt happened?

1. Torts doesnt choose the lineups for most games
2. Torts say he doesnt know the players so he need time to learn who is good and who not
3. Torts say "forget about winning" in one of his pressers. We want to play like "f***ing flyers".
4. Torts doesnt start to implement a system in the whole preseason. Just barely started the first stepps in this direction
5. Torts is writing a letter to season ticket holder with the same bullshit
6. They now try another player on another position. Noah Cates as a Center. Like Farabee last season
7. They lost every game except ONE.
8. They scored 1 goal per game. 2 of them in 5on3 PP.
9. They couldnt prevent other teams lineups full of AHL scrubs from scoring
10. They couldnt score vs AHL scrubs lineups.
11. Couts, Farabee, Hart, Provorov, Atkinson, Sandstrom still questionable or already questionable
12. Provorov and TDA looked putrid together vs AHL scrubs
13. Fisto is the same as ever. AHL scrub
14. York lost his confidence because of all the safe plays the organization wants from him, kind of like frost in his first 2 season here.


For me the start of Tortorella is a HUGE disgrace!

How can he not implement a system. How can he believe that he is able to install a system while the season is ongoing. We heard for years that the coach isnt at fault, cause he cant do anything while the season is ongoing. Now Tortorella CHOOSE to DONT DO ANYTHING in PRESEASON??!!


I could go on and on and on. But i know my english is bad and Corona is giving me pain, so iam out now.



1 last thing:

"The Standard" is a f***ing propaganda shitshow! I cant see this shit without getting a headache.
