He literally did though. Lets say he does more and someone punches him and gets hurt. He's out a few games making us worse. Risk getting injured just to show being tough.
There are times to be tough, but not in that instance

I think if you never stand up for yourself, you'll continue to get taken advantage of.
 
That was an entertaining game, love it.

Matthews doesn’t need to fight just hug someone and look engaged while your teammates do the dirty work.

Konecny is like half his size, he could have just bodied him down onto the ice. Can’t always count on the 40 year old to come flying in to your rescue.

Big exaggeration and that's the only time he's ever really done it in his whole career. Dubois, Chiarot etc have taken so many liberties with him and he's just took it and done nothing.

If he had grabbed someone they would have dropped their gloves right after. And then what?
You have the last guy on the roster you ever want in a fight now in a fight.

I didn’t get to see the game but it sounds like they really beat up a team in the 2nd of a BTB playing their backup goalie…….well done guys
 
Where are all the Tavares haters? Say what you want about him, but this guy bleeds blue and white and plays with heart, unlike some other players.
