He literally did though. Lets say he does more and someone punches him and gets hurt. He's out a few games making us worse. Risk getting injured just to show being tough.
There are times to be tough, but not in that instance
Nah. He didnt. You're looking at 19.

'Lets say' whatever you want but 34 aint a lion, but a p***ycat in the toughness department.

You don't ask your Superstar to fight.... did Gretzky fight? Crosby...? give your head a shake... what if he broke his hand... =/
Be like Pasta or Kuch, Mac, Drei…Should I continue? These mean b.stards don’t fight, but they always push back. Mathews is more timid and seems more cowardly behind that smile. Great player though, just not mean in a positive way.

Fancy sentences don't help your point. Matthews did the smart thing. Don't get hurt just make yourself look tough

Honestly J.T has looked the best out of the big 4 this season so far, nice to see him get the hatty (even though i missed it) but watching the highlights I lost my own jock strap on that J.T goal. in-FU*KING-SANE.

Vintage. Spezzas gone. We have the new vintage lol.

Where are all the Tavares haters? Say what you want about him, but this guy bleeds blue and white and plays with heart, unlike some other players.
He got a nice goal on the deke, but that goalie looked like Garrett Sparks on those other 2.

Soooo he tried it and it didn’t work?
I don't consider that a good attempt, no.

Malgin looked good again, didn't score but was buzzing in his limited minutes and his work to pick up his own rebound led to the ZAR goal. Don't really understand the rationale in keeping either him or Robertson on the fourth line, can't help but feel like he's gonna be another Barabanov situation.

Today was a layup game they finally took advantage of. Saturday is the real test
