Our bottom six is still complete chaos and the defense/goaltending need help but the care level is back, and that's all it takes to spark hope once more.

I got to say I didn't want matty to drop the gloves but deep down I was hoping he would. I don't blame him for not but I would have been much happier with a bear hug during the scrum after gio takedown.

Obviously, a great game by Tavares.
Samsonov would be my second star, even with the second goal. His save to begin the 3rd huge.
Gio for the tackle! Two times now, Rielly against the Peg, where a defenseman has come in when needed.

I've not seen many games this year. Mete is a pleasant surprise. Very good skater, no obvious errors (I came in at the beginning of the 2nd) and effective at getting the puck out of our zone. A good game from my vantage point.

Nice first game by Holmberg, and Malgin. Even ZAR was ok, had a few chances. Bottom six was good. JT of course, great game, Matty started doing Matty things. Samsanov has been good.

Let’s see this version of the team show up against Boston please.
