Annoys me to no end that Moore got suspended the same amount of games as Prust and STILL got a 5 minute major to Prust's freebie.

Yeah, this is the problem I have. Moore got thrown out of the game and they get a 5er. Should have been one game. Luckily it's John Moore and not someone who plays big minutes. Plus, now we get someone on the PP who will shoot!

How does Moore, with his clean record, get as many games as Prust, who has prior suspensions/fines?

I see the head contact here closer to incidental, not the principal point like they say in the video. I think he hits Weise's chest/right shoulder so hard that his head snaps back and whips hard.

The Prust hit on Stepan was worse than this, and Prust was a repeat offender. Am I missing something here?

It's well known that injury and suspension history are modifiers. So I don't really see why what Sluggo said shouldn't be taken at face value.

I disagree. Look at the suspensions tracker on the main board for the regular season. The majority of suspensions are either two or three games. Plenty of players on that list are not repeat offenders and plenty of those hits did not result in an injury. For the most part, suspension history is the only thing that results in a longer suspension.

Yes:

- it's the NHL.

- it's a hit on a Hab.

- it's the ECF.

- it's wrestling.

The reffing was so bad in game 4 that I heard new fans to the game in the stands saying "I don't know how you can take this league seriously."

There is a limited amount of time that can be considered "prior history". I believe it's 18 months. Anything past that doesn't count.

Two games is about what I expected.

Yeah, this is complete BS. Prust made contact with Stepan's head on purpose, period.

We're all missing something here: Like the on-ice officials, Quintal & Co. only see what they WANT to see.

Let's finish off these Habs tomorrow night and move on. Rangers need to use this BS as inspiration to take the Habs and these biased officials out of the picture.

Wait, so leaving the game for a brief period of time and then coming back counts the same as getting a fractured jaw? WHAT?

That is what he said right? That Weise was injured?

So, not as late, no priors, no injury...get's the same as Prust AND a 5 min. major.

LOLOLOLOL K.

AND, the victim didn't sit out 1 game + due to the injury, and his jaw didn't require surgery. Disgusting decision. I hope Diaz pumps in a few goals to help bury the Habs.

So Prust's hit was:

1. Later
2. From a guy with a suspension history
3. Caused injury

And they get the same length? What?

Diaz will have like 5+ shot attempts. I'll be shocked if he can't score one vs. Tokarski, if not more. Shocked.
