Stephane "My heart is in Montreal" Quintal is a joke.

I think that anyone who quits on a team and then talks **** on his teammates is de facto a terrible person. If you put it out there that you have zero integrity like Sluggo did back in the day, than I can't see how a league could justify putting him in a position of power like he is in. Once you show the world that you're a scum bag like that, I frankly don't think anyone has to know them personally to know that they are pure garbage.

But it's the NHL. Bryan Marchment will get the next player safety gig, I bet.

I really have no problem with the Moore suspension. That's a hit they're trying to get out of the game. That's fine.

The more I think about it though, the more Prust should have gotten. He has a history of this type of behavior and you could argue based on the events that happened earlier in the series along with his "accidentally on purpose" comments that his hit was something that was premeditated.

Keep in mind that Quintal is the same sack of **** that quit on the team and wanted to return to Montreal and who talked **** on his teammates while he was still a Ranger.

Quintal is a horrible human being and an even worse player. And now we can add an even worse league executive to that list.

I would love to know how this piece of garbage weaseled his way into his current position.

I've got no opinion on the suspension but I heartily agree on Quintal.

Came here for the $$$$, played like crap and then whined he was homesick.

My only regret about this is that Dorsett didn't get a lifetime ban for playing for the Rangers ever again. If only that were possible. :(

He is my least favorite Ranger of all time. I joke about Krapa, Pylon, Kamensky, etc. But mother **** Stéphane Quintal. A truly terrible Ranger and a disgrace to the jersey.

I think this was deserved IMO.

I like Moore, but that was as stupid a hit as I've seen a Ranger make in a while. It was obvious the second he made it that he'd be tossed and suspended.

Isolate the incident and I think few Ranger fans have a problem with two games for the hit. The problem is the precedence they put in place with the Prust suspension. He has history and the result of a broken jaw, Moore has no history.

There is talk about a concussion to Weise. If that is the case why the **** did they guy skate three more shifts after going to the quiet room?

Prust's two games doesn't make sense. Should have been five at least. Moore should probably have more, but less than Prust. Moronic penalties both of them.

I can see no possible way that this will end in a final game in Montreal. Rangers had a horribel day at work and scored 4. Lundqvist & the Rangers in front of him will Maximum let Montreal score twice at home. So have a normal day and score at least Three. Lundqvsit have a normal day and give them a flip flop and that's it.

And please do something about these 8 o clock games if the NHL have any interest in the bandwagon spreading east.

Exactly this. the fact Prust wasn't given the 5 MAJ and a GM is the most criminal part of it all. He also probably should have got 3 or 4 games compared to two. Moore deserves the suspension though and I will not argue with that.

Why did Derek Stepan play an entire game with a fractured jaw?

This is the same kind of stupid argument we heard from Montreal fans. Don't be a Montreal fan.

A repeat offender gets 2 games for a worse hit and Moore gets the same. Quintal is a complete idiot. The NHL is a joke once again. No wonder nobody will ever take this sport seriously.

I don't think anyone would have a problem with the suspension in a vacuum. The issue is the proportional relationship to Prust's suspension.

You tell me that Moore's hit was worth two games? Fine. Then Prust's identical hit, which came later, in the wake of threats by the coach and teammates, from a player with a history, caused an injury, and was not penalized during the game, was worth four, minimum. Period, the end.

Whatever, its done and over with...Is Wiese injured or hes ready to go for the next game?

Yep. I certainly think he deserves to be suspended. It's just ludicrous he gets the same suspension as Prust.
