Stephane "My heart is in Montreal" Quintal is a joke.
Keep in mind that Quintal is the same sack of **** that quit on the team and wanted to return to Montreal and who talked **** on his teammates while he was still a Ranger.
Quintal is a horrible human being and an even worse player. And now we can add an even worse league executive to that list.
I would love to know how this piece of garbage weaseled his way into his current position.
I'v got no opinion on the suspension but I heartily agree on Quintal.
Came here for the $$$$, played like crap and then whined he was homesick.
I really have no problem with the Moore suspension. That's a hit they're trying to get out of the game. That's fine.
The more I think about it though, the more Prust should have gotten. He has a history of this type of behavior and you could argue based on the events that happened earlier in the series along with his "accidentally on purpose" comments that his hit was something that was premeditated.

Isolate the incident and I think few Ranger fans have a problem with two games for the hit. The problem is the precedence they put in place with the Prust suspension. He has history and the result of a broken jaw, Moore has no history.
There is talk about a concussion to Weise. If that is the case why the **** did they guy skate three more shifts after going to the quiet room?
I think this was deserved IMO.
I like Moore, but that was as stupid a hit as I've seen a Ranger make in a while. It was obvious the second he made it that he'd be tossed and suspended.
Exactly this. the fact Prust wasn't given the 5 MAJ and a GM is the most criminal part of it all. He also probably should have got 3 or 4 games compared to two. Moore deserves the suspension though and I will not argue with that.
I don't think anyone would have a problem with the suspension in a vacuum. The issue is the proportional relationship to Prust's suspension.
You tell me that Moore's hit was worth two games? Fine. Then Prust's identical hit, which came later, in the wake of threats by the coach and teammates, from a player with a history, caused an injury, and was not penalized during the game, was worth four, minimum. Period, the end.
