If you don't think upgrading Kulak was a need, that means, unequivocally, you're satisfied with Kulak...
I'm fine with getting Romanov a steady non-puck mover. He's the puck mover on the bottom pair. Edmundson and Petry work well having one puck mover and one stay at home D.
Its tough to move the puck when you aren’t touch it. Seriously. When the opponent, dumped the puck in the end of the zone. Mete get it and was able to rush the opponen zone. But when the opponent decided to just attack the zone. Mete was stuck in his own zone and wasnt able to stop the cycling. That was hard to see.
There’s our big deadline acquisition
''our right has the talent''Who do they have on the right? We have Petry, Weber, Romanov.
We just knocked Kulak to the stands. Currently, our left side is our stay at home side and our right side has the talent.
Now MB needs to find Weber a puck mover, because Weber needs to be the stay at home on his pair. This trade may have fixed the bottom pair (the Romanov pair). Now MB needs to fix the 2nd pair (the Weber pair).
Well there's MB's annual depth dman deadline deal. I know nothing about this player at all.
Insert Dunn on defence and Hoffman offence just a gut feeling
Seriously, what is the point of having size if they're not playing tough? It lasted 10 games, then became a big defense with no mobility. No nastiness whatsoever. You know, at the beginning of this season, I allowed myself to fantasize fooled that we had a big defence that would be mean and nasty and throw its weight around and intimidate the other teams forwards like the bruins used to do to us a few years back. But instead, we got a bunch of slow cream puffs.
With all the assets, players and picks Berg has. You would think he would make a move or two that would "definitely" help this team out for a few years. He throws away picks and prospects at bargain berg specials that make hardly any difference at all.
Is this considered another trade victory???
You're saying that as if King and Ott were the reason the team lost. If this is the only move and Bergevin expects to compete it obviously won't do it, but no one is saying it will.Sounds an awful lot like what we said when they added Dwight King and Steve Ott and lost to a shitty Rangers team in the first round.
Is this considered another trade victory???
I think the stay at home D is necessary not to get caught up in Montreals' nightlife. We got a stay at home D because we are always stuck in our zone. Makes sense.
Weren’t there posters here swallowing up and regurgitating the fake news spun by the Habs PR trolls at the beginning of the year that we had the top D in the division ?You know, at the beginning of this season, I allowed myself to fantasize fooled that we had a big defence that would be mean and nasty and throw its weight around and intimidate the other teams forwards like the bruins used to do to us a few years back. But instead, we got a bunch of slow cream puffs.
I think he finally felt free to express himself after leaving the conservative environment of Las Vegas.John Merril in Las Vegas:
John Merrill after 36 games in Detroit:
What the hell happened?
Yeah, he’s effectively horrible on both sides.
''our right has the talent''
Minus Weber is completely washed up
Petry seems to have cooled off and probably tired to carry the puck
Romanov is far from ready for that.
Left side is perhaps our stay at home d-squad but not of them are top 3 players and are players who struggle to move the pucks.
Chariot and Armia are coming back soon , this team is pretty much set in stone for the reason of the season.
This is awful , Vince Dunn is available why the f*** if we need to badly someone offensive who can move the puck and just let him go.
We let Devon Toews walk for nothing he has like 25 points in 40 games. Like what the f***
