He's add so much to his game from the beginning of the season. He isn't just all go-go-go-go-go! when he's out there with the puck. He's varying pace and looking to create instead of just getting to the net. He's really grown and there may even be more.

Think he's going to be more than a bottom 6 guy. Top 6 if they can make room somehow, down the line. Just a guess. Going to be interesting competition for top 6 forward minutes. Would love to see Quinn ,Peterka, Tuch, Olofsson, in that top 6, but Skinner and his absurd contract keeps getting in the way.

Skinner gets so much crap for his contract but Jamie Benn makes the same money and put up 18 goals this season. Skinner was 9 goals off of matching Benn and Seguin’s combined goals total and they both have a higher cap hit.

Just a rambling way of saying Skinner’s contract is fine as long as he’s doing what he’s going.
