Good riddance. The Canucks made same bad decisions on their 3rd and 4th lines. Roussel, beagle , sutter , virtannen etc etc. That cost them re-signing Tofolli and tanev.
guys like Armia are not a priority. If he gets 3 million it’s just ridiculous

I liked him with Staal and Perry - until the Tampa series where we needed speed, in addition to skill, to beat them, and that 4th line was ineffective.

I really like Armia but given the cap it's probably not worth it for us if he costs more than $2mil. Danault is more of a priority

Armia is a good NHL player but is inconsistent in my humble opinion. There are nights when he is the best forward on the ice and then he sort of disappears for 2 weeks. He is a good penalty killer and shutdown winger but he should produce much more, he has an excellent shot and the size that should be utilized more than it is. A much too gentle giant.

Armia is the kind of player that you can't fall in love with . If you do, you could end up overpaying for him and that decision will haunt you down the line when it will be time to resigning other players, players who are more valuable to your roster than Armia.

Armia is a playoff player. That you will see half of the time in the regular season. That kinda dissapeared against Tampa but who didn't...and it wasn't help by Staal. I believe he'll need a centerman that will bring up the face. Like a Evans. Or a Cizikas. Yes, I know, I will keep repeating the word Cizikas till he signs....surely somewhere else.

I did not notice Armia once in the TBay series...pace is an issue against fast teams

They’re better players Than Armia. Armia is a legitimate bottom line player. Let him go to UFA and see what offers he gets. It won’t be 3 million
Gross overpayment for a limited skill set and with a player who can’t keep up with faster teams.
