I read more than I write and noticed your hate against the guy for no reason. I already spoke about Armia here, he's one of my favorite player for what he brings. He might have limited hockey sense and passing skills but don't say he's not trying/ not engaged. Remember the line with Caufield and Suzy at the end of the season? Who got those pucks out the the corner?

He's a great third liner who can fill in the top 6 and elevate his game in the playoffs, kind of a Lars Eller winger version.

Was he engaged last night? I can't think of a single shift he was noticeable. I mean , if he's one of your favorite players, I guess you have never called him out. How can you say he was engaged during the regular season? That massive frame should be noticable, he really hasn't been besides his great two goal game. Also you waited that long to call me out on an Armia post? You held that inside you for 2 months, waiting to. bust me on an Armia insult?

He hasn’t elevated his game. He had one game where he had two goals. But I haven’t noticed him in the other 5 games. Sorry but for a guy that’s 6’4, he should really be throwing his body around and making more of an impact shift to shift.

4 points in 6 playoff games with no PP time, 19 hits with 14m average per game I mean... If you don't notice him, buy some glasses mate. What more do you want? He and Carey are the reason we won game 5 and still playing. Keep on hating.

Dude i'm not here 24/7 like some of you guys. there is life outside HF. I see your comments right after his 2 goal game and clearly you don't like the guy. You notice Gallagher more during this serie? How about Anderson? The guy ain't perfect but at 2.8M he brings great service without PP time. If you don't notice him, it's because you don't want to. I hope you eat crow when he scores another one tonight.

What were my comments after his 2 goal game? I never said a thing until you chimed in. If you can't admit he wasn't that good in the regular season, that's on you.

You may not be here 24/7, but it's funny you have some little mission to come on when Armia has that one good game and start calling people out like you had an 'ah ha' moment and have waited a year to cash it in. He can be a really effective player, and its frustrating to watch him, or any player, go invisible for 10 games at a time. I've called out Anderson, Gallagher, Weber, Suzuki .. JK, Toffolli.. I don't coddle my favorite players like apparently, you do.

If you can't call out Armia when he's been bad, that's on you. But don't chime in when it's convenient , after a good game, and pretend like you were right all along because that's just sad.

If he scores tonight, why would I eat crow? I haven't called him out in the playoffs, he may be one of the only ones I haven't called out.

I'm keeping him over Tatar, play him with Danault and Gally as ourb3rd line next year.

Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - KK - Anderson
Armia - Danault - Gallagher
Poehling - Evans - Perry

I don't watch your comments after every game and no, I didn't wait a year to call you on this. The timing of your post was just... bad. Saying he's not performing/engage the play is plain wrong when you look at the stats, He does what he's ask to: Play hard on the forechek, create turnovers, own the boards, go to the net... You feel he's not doing that on a regular basis? That's on you. Everyone have bad games, even McDavid. And look at the last post, was he really that unnoticeable during last 2 playoffs? He'll never be a big point producer but you can bet every team would like to have him on a third line.

Then you should button it and do some research. I called him out during the regular season after a stretch of BAD games where he was awful. From Feb 10th onwards he showed up to play Winnipeg, and that's about it. You could name the players on this team who were NOT completely awful from Feb onwards, there were not many.

I never called out Armia once since the playoffs started, but I have called out Gallagher, Anderson , Weber, Petry and all the leaders on this team.

19 of the softest hits in NHL history. He’s a fine 3rd liner but I’m not re-signing him.

Armia is a good guy to have in your bottom six, but this team needs to stop overpaying bottom six guys. Between him Lehkonen and Byron they account for 10% of our cap.

With Caufield, Gallagher, Anderson already on the right side they should just re-sign Perry to a cheap deal again as Armia will likely get a raise as a UFA.

Let Tatar walk keep Army

Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - KK - Anderson
Armia - Danault - Gally
Poehling - Evans - Perry

Please and thankyou

Then at the deadline get a top six forward and bump Army to the 4th for the playoffs. The top 4 puck moving Dman we still need to figure out as well. But we'll worry about that after the playoffs

What I like about him is that once in a while he activates beast mode and score a couple of goals.

Yep.

He has a tremendous shot (as evidenced by habs own skill competitions) and he loves to use it.

He plays hard in the playoffs and his big frame and long reach, great PK ability and ability to pot some goals make him an easy keep.

When he had to move up in the lineup VS Philly last year he looked decent too, tbh.

He's big, good defensively, wins puck battles, and every now and then says F*** it I'm winning this game myself. Perfect 3rd liner imo

Yep that's the point I was making to a Leafs fan wanting him for his second line. He disappears and is frustrating oh so often but a guy you really like on your third lie going up and down the lineup.

As MTL I'd keep him but i really depends whether or not he hits free agency and how much he wants. In FA you also have desperate GMs (see Alzner, Lucic, Eriksson, Neal)...
