Deja vu from the Flyers series. 6 periods goalless streak. Game 5. The death-game. Armia breaks the wall and scores two in a row. Habs win.

Hopefully this time we'll see G7.

Well, at least the hate has subsided. Now he's not being spoken to at all, which means he's playing well.

Can anyone explain why those two play PP before him ? I kinda understand KK because he's center and young. Armia isn't making enough money ? Effective way to ensure that he will not even consider signing a new contract. Why would he.

I'm guessing Armia is off the PP because he's needed more on the PK, especially with Lehkonen out. While Anderson/Gallagher see no PK time.

That social-utilizing and spreading the icetime kinda make sense during the regular season. So no one get their feelings hurt. But during playoffs.. It's crazy not to utilize the most effective players on special teams.

Why would he not be back next year? We're obviously unloading Tatar contract and Danault might be asking for the moon so there's a chance we unload him too. We'll sign Armia easily if these things happens.

Will the habs go full youth down the middle with suzuki, KK, Evans, and Poehling next year? Even the most progressive teams will probably say no to that.

The habs would definitely be looking to bring in a center if Danault isn't back.

I like Armia but he would probably asking for a big long term contract this summer, something around 6 years for 20M IMO. I would have sign him to that contract if he was a LW, but we have too many RW for now.

If I remember right, he played LW in Liiga. But I know it's not as common to put players on their off wing in the NHL.

He's an easy guy to let walk. Plays well about every 6 games. Looks like he apologizes to every player he hits (which is rare).

Really? I’d let a few other players walk before him. The games he plays well, we end up winning. + I think he’s playing a big role in Kotkaniemi’s emergency and development as a power centre.

That didn't age well.

I'm like 1 of 6 people who even gave Montreal a chance to take this to 7, and that's what you are calling me out on? He was awful in the last 20 regular season games, he looks uninterested most nights.

If you want to call out people, go through the thread before the playoffs even started. You probably haven't made a stance on a single player in your history on this forum, just playing it safe so you don't have to risk answering for your thoughts?

I read more than I write and noticed your hate against the guy for no reason. I already spoke about Armia here, he's one of my favorite player for what he brings. He might have limited hockey sense and passing skills but don't say he's not trying/ not engaged. Remember the line with Caufield and Suzy at the end of the season? Who got those pucks out the the corner?

He's a great third liner who can fill in the top 6 and elevate his game in the playoffs, kind of a Lars Eller winger version.

He hasn’t elevated his game. He had one game where he had two goals. But I haven’t noticed him in the other 5 games. Sorry but for a guy that’s 6’4, he should really be throwing his body around and making more of an impact shift to shift.

I think KK will actually be a power forward, hit people and have a mean streak.

Joel plays hockey like a Benedictine Monk.

Lmao, even this dude knows Armia is not going to sign here next season. Cute downplaying. Love it.
