For your sake, i hope you're just playing clueless. He has played 120 games as hab and produced 0.48 ppg. That's 2nd line production on a mediocre team.
A meh 2nd liner who cannot stay healthy.
you picked a weird dude to be a fan boy of

Armia's a great 3rd liner when he's on and not floating (or taking ridiculously dumb penalties, which can bite him from time to time)...I was hard as Hell on him at the start of the season purely because he wasn't playing his game and was ghosting again; however, he can also be a very effective 3rd liner that can change the entire complexion of a game with one well-timed play...it's on him to be that guy more often than not...
No one can stay ON all the time, and he doesn't leak even when he's OFF. His line didn't leak once in first games, there was no floating whatsoever, he had couple of chances and he created few grade A chances before game 4 and when that line get it going. He doesn't take noticeable amount of penalties. His production has been more than acceptable. He doesn't deserve any of this shit.

I mean, on any decent team he'd be playing 10-13 minutes and he was playing 17 including some PP, making his output pretty mediocre. I actually like Armia, he's a solid role player but like I said, chill brother. IT'LL BE OKAY
Seasons 18-21, overall TOI 14:45 (PK not included). Production 0.48 ppg. 2nd line TOI, mediocre 2nd line production. Yeah, it's OKAY and there's no reason to try to make his numbers look less significant. Or more significant by saying he played mostly with third liners.

I"d keep Perry >Armia right now. Perry has been one of the most consistent forwards, he creates, he's chippy and great net front presence on PP.
But Perry is 35 and he cant play every night on a compressed schedule.
Joel will have to wait for another injury or to sub for Perry once in a while.

I find that the habs are looking quite average the last few games. Not saying it’s on Perry of course but bringing Armia back in might be a boost that they need.

Disagree big time here, I prefer Armia by far on that line.

Toffoli-KK-Armia is way better in their own end as well.

Armia>>>> Perry at 5vs5 +PK

Easy decision for me.

Nobody cares about Armias PK ability, ltierally everyone on the team plays the PK.

With that out of the way, both players are not good enough. Armia is good one game out of twelve and Perry is good in the Ozone but struggles to get there. Gally or Tatar needs to be on that line or someone has to be acquired.

Oh damn, now it's only one game out of twelve. Last time it was 1/10. Good luck finding another versatile 0.5 ppg and under 4M player for third line. Let me show you a list of players to choose from:

And then there's this guy -

Id rather have top 6er for the top 6 than use a fourth liner like Armia in it.

Armia was in grey at practice, I think it means contact jersey?

It would be nice to have him against one the games vs the Leafs. Still though, the Habs have one big cushion and can afford to miss Armia for another week

For everyone sake's it's better to wait until he's comfortable, then wait another 5 days

Perry is noticeably slower in the last few games. Armia return should help the team quite a bit, maybe start talking about an extension too; him and Lehkonen are both players that I'd try to anchor long term

Okay so now we are talking about missing top6er. Looks like someone has lost his marbles, again. Nothing but nonsense and trolling. Kinda worrying.

Perry has brought an element missing on this team. He's great in around the crease, every game he creates and grinds.
Besides he's a great pro and an example to his teamates. He shows up hours before the game and has quite an extensive pre game ritual. That rubs off on young guys.

Sure...but he's also limited as a player outside of what he does really well (net front presence).

I've found his game to be overstated by many.

But to each their own.

Yea that's pretty well what he's done his whole career.
Look at the team from a global perspective and you'll notice great teams have guys like him who can really control the play around the net. It's a underrated skill. Besides he's surprised me with his playmaking. Maybe really need to appreciate the nuances of the game to appreciate what Perry brings.

I agree, Perry needs to be spot started based on opposition....he’s here for the playoffs.

Byron’s speed would’ve helped last night, team seemed slow

Not sure where you read that I don't appreciate what he brings lol.

I just said he's limited as a player, that's just a fact and there's no nuance to that.

He shows glimpses of looking great every 5-10 games, then disappears for long stretches offensively. It is no surprise that Kotkaniemi has looked much better with consistent wingers.
