Deservedly.
OK, I'm completely at sea then. Harris isn't flashy, and he had one really terrible play so far this preseason, that was pretty far out of character, but he's usually quietly effective. He's unlikely to be a good first pairing D, but I'm not sure the habs have one of those now, maybe Matheson, and potentially Guhle in a year or two, but none currently ready.

Harris is an amazing third pairing D and a pretty good second pairing player. He didn't play with stars last year, and, while he didn't put up a lot of points, most of his other metrics were better than pretty much anyone else's. Sure, you can't blame the guys who ended up playing the first pairing minutes, because those guys are going to get caved in as long as the habs just don't have someone capable of dealing with opponents' top lines, but what's the rush to dump Harris? Sure, once, if ever, the habs are competing for the cup you would hope he's not top 6, but for the moment he pretty clearly is. You would hope he's not top 6 because it would mean that the habs have 6 pretty extraordinary guys...

Sure, you want 6 big, fast, D-men who can defend and play offense, but it's pretty unlikely. If Harris doesn't have a spot in a year or two it probably means pretty much everyone else vying for a spot hit or exceeded what their current ceiling looks like.

Yeah, I don’t want to see Armia take up ice-time in Laval. Would be nice to unload him by attaching a 4th rounder or something but doubt anyone bites.
You will need to add a second round pick to get him out of Montreal with a trade.

So, that's two bodies gone, one or two more? Paper transactions where kids get sent down to make us cap compliant with Price on the team as of tomorrow?

Holy shit. Never thought they’d waive Armia wow
You thought about it all the time what are you talking about ;)

I for one, would love to see joel get back in shape and come back in for a couple years and take the 3rd/2nd line role until a younger man is ready.

Looking at the rosters I could see Nashville claiming Armia ... ? Not that they really need him but their forward group is pretty weak maybe they want to roll the dice on him.

Where did you get that ?? That's a beauty, a cultural treasure to preserve and cherish !
Nicest early 70's macho danse comedy on tv.
It’s a famous Italian artist who studied phonetic art for this song to prove a point that you didn’t need to understand the lyrics to like a song, and created a track that sounded like 70s english american music. It’s in gibberish.

Maybe if Armia was in his last year of his contract and was getting paid 1.5 million.
