That's about where Moreno belongs. He's a stud. Glad to see it
So do we end up trading 1 of Adams, Kirk or Jansen? I imagine Adams has the least value and Kirk has the most. I've always wanted to keep Jansen, he is still young, but he's turning me off from being a believer. And with him being hurt, may give someone an opportunity. Too bad Kirk is still hurt.
I'm hesitant to trade any catchers since I feel the more darts we have the better of finally hitting on a long-term solution, but at the same time, Moreno will need to play every day in AAA at some point this year the way he is going. If they plan to leave him in AA all year, then no real rush at all.

Biggio a 1B/dh? If that’s what you think his value is we’d be much better off trading him then doing that.Trade Adams AND Jansen before he goes completely blind. Teams were willing to trade good players for Jansen last year, so take them up on their offer. Call up Moreno, trade Tellez (play Biggio at first if you need a backup left handed bat; even if Tellez was hitting well, a team doesn't need three 1B/DH types ESPECIALLY when one of them is the very best in the entire league, and the second one has a chance to be nearly as good), DH Kirk and have him on hand as an emergency 3rd catcher. Keep McGuire for left hand bat and hope he manages to grow into a decent backup. Get a veteran if he can't.
Still a bit of a logjam at DH but at least you might get a decent pitcher out of those two without trading the more interesting prospects.
Oh, and hi. I've actually been lurking around here for years, but I couldn't resist replying to this.
Biggio a 1B/dh? .
You may have to include McGuire too. His numbers have not been good last season and this, but he is improving. Last season he had a lot of bad luck, BABIP was .069.
McGuire is no one's favourite but he has only had 229 career PAs and his fWAR is 0.9. Extrapolate that over 650 PAs in a season and that is 2.6 fWAR. Jansen's value over 650 PAs is 2 fWAR. McGuire still has time to provide value especially if Jansen is hurt.
Jays are really deep at catching; McGuire, Jansen, Kirk, Adams, Moreno. Also have Philip Clarke and 2 top IFA signings; from 2018, Javier D'Orazio and from 2020, Victor Mesia. Last year's Jays 5th round pick, Zach Britton was drafted as an OF but he was a catcher in high school and in his freshman year with Lousville but moved to OF due to the arrival of Henry Davis, 2021 MLB draft prospect expected to go in the top 3. Britton has moved back to catcher for Dunedin this season and he has been playing really well except runners have been running on him a lot with a success rate of 93%, needs to work on that. Bat has been great, 27 BBs to 25 Ks and a OPS of 830+.
Jays are going to pick in the range where catchers Joe Mack and Harry Ford are expected to go in the 2021 draft.
Would be nice if at least one of these guys run with the position and become a dependable top 5-10 MLB catcher.
Hopefully management can turn 2 of McGuire, Jansen and Adams into trade chips for MLB help.
I was very surprised no team took McGuire while he has on waivers. His bat isn't good but he's fairly young and good defensive catcher.
Well you insinuate it by saying to trade Tellez because a team doesn’t need three 1B/Dh.Where did I say that I see him as an every day 1B/DH? I said he can play 1st if you absolutely must have your backup left handed bat.
