Only like 30ish more games till Jimmy asserts his dominance over the NHL once again with a goal!

Who knows, if we all say our Jimmy mantras and prayers correctly, he might even bless us with a secondary assist!

All life is suffering, Jimmy Hayes is the one true enlightened one.

I literally hate this guy. We need to trade him ASAP. Even if it's for a 20th round pick. What a horrible trade. This trade burns worse than the Dougie Hamilton trade. At least we got draft picks back for it. In exchange for Reilly Smith we got... this bum!!:rant::rant:

Jimmy did everything right today. His positioning was the best it's been all season.

BRUINS’ HAYES ALSO IN RUMOR MILL

Spooner might not be the only struggling forward the Bruins try to move this season. The Ottawa Sun's Bruce Garrioch reports they wouldn't mind moving winger Jimmy Hayes, who's managed only one goal in 23 games this season.

Hayes, 27, will be tougher to move. He's signed through 2017-18 at an annual cap hit of $2.3 million, plus he's been a bust as a power forward.

Im not gonna take the same approach as some and bash the guy, hes getting bashed enough, every day of the week. I just think a trade needs to be made sooner rather than later. Id love to know what Sweeney is thinking of this situation, obviously he knows Hayes hasn't worked out and its gonna be hard to move his contract but I'd reaaaaaally loike to know whats going through his head. Could he move him at the deadline for like, a 3rd? Or is even that asking too much. I just don't know anymore. I dont like how its gotten personal for a lot of fans with him, I just think its time for this to end.

not sure how much Panther fans liking Smith`s 4-6-10 right now either although if Hayes would have those numbers at this point, probably not get half the hammering he does

I don`t hate the guy, seems like a nice guy and a player teammates like. What I despise is the fact he`s taking a jersey from someone else who might actually produce something. Have a feeling that once Acciari is back, Jimmy`s done

It's weird to think that there are people on this board who call Beleskey's contract "one of the worst in the league", yet we could get another team to take on a 6'6" 2.3 million/year 1 goal in the last ~45 games player.

I just don't see it plausibly happening. The guy needs to be put on waivers and then buried in the AHL, but ownership clearly doesn't want to pay an NHL salary for a guy in the minors. I question Claude, but even I don't think he is delusional enough to think Hayes holds any sort of value on this roster.

Acciari will not get you any more offensive production than Hayes. Acciari will probably be better in the other areas of the game than Hayes, but really this team needs offensive help. Acciari for Hayes doesn't really improve the team a lot. I'd like to see th e top two offensive players from Prov get a shot.

Probably not now, but as a young developing player, there is always a chance that his game in that area makes some forward progress and that alone makes it worth doing. If Acciari never develops more offense, he still got to be better than 1 goal in 45 games. We still have the better skilled guys to bring up if Noel doesn't get there but Hayes is what it he is. I still don't know how he managed to score 19 goals for FLA :amazed:

I'm not a big fan of 55 but he brings a lot to the table, intangibly. Hits, works his ass off, blocks shots, can kill penalties and is a pain in the ass. Prototypical 4th line player.

Hayes brings absolutely nothing. At least I notice Acciari, Hayes just lumbers around doing nothing.

No point in bringing top offensive players up and having them play 9:00 a night in a 4th line role. Let the kids play a ton in the "A" and when it's time put them in a situation they will succeed in.

Give Wayne Simpson a try or Peter Mueller or anyone.

Why are we still talking about this guy he should have been sent down, waived, discarded, whatever months ago.

Hayes is rolling at .04 points per game that is 425th best among forwards.

30 teams at 12 forwards a piece is 360 forwards in the league.

So technically he is 65 forwards worse then the worst player in the league for points per game.

He is 403 in the league in points for forwards, this puts him a little better at 43 worst player in the league after the last guy.

Bruins management is telling us there is no one better.
Get your heads out of your a$$es and get rid of this bum once and for all.

Mueller has been putting up some points the last 2 weeks. I don't think he's Claude's type.

Jimmy missed a golden opportunity to move ahead of Tom Wilson tonight in the scoring race.

At least he stayed out of the way as Domo and Blidh worked well together for the first goal.

He loses way to many puck battles along the wall. I can almost forgive someone for having no offensive talent, but at his size he should be able to fend off some players in the league.

I like the idea of a Blidh -- Domo -- Acciari 4th line. Shifty, feisty, good along the walls, good energy.

Honestly, what has to happen for him to go away? There has to be someone we can call up. I can throw a rock out the window and hit someone better.
