Prospect Info: Jets Prospects

Such a smart development the Jets have done with Lambert so far. Give a kid who has struggled to find his game at the adult level overseas the structure and cohesiveness of the Jets/Moose system and org. Teach him defensive systems and actual coaching feedback on their game so they can work on it. After a few months of that on the job training, he gets sent to the dub to get his confidence up by lighting up the scoreboard. Hoping come to camp next year with a lot more defensive tools and confidence that the offensive part is still a big threat.

Really smart by Jets mgmt to see it that way. We have seen time and again young prospects in the league not being handled and developed properly, and only to find that prospect stagnate or bust. So I am glad Chevy and the mgmt team do what they are doing

Anyone get the feeling, now that Lambert is starting to look like a legit prospect doing well so far in the W (after a couple seasons of floundering development), that he will be traded soon?

I haven’t seen that? Looking at the WHL app ‘plays’. Lambert was taking face offs in the 3rd
I saw it on the main boards Lambert thread, but maybe I’m misunderstanding the poster because he also mentioned Gracyn Sawchyn in the same post. Maybe he left after two periods instead?

This little tear that BBB is on will make decisions interesting regarding where he'll play next season. Gotta think Moose again

Right up there in PPG

I can't tell how upset I was to find out Lucuis got hurt. I had watched 3 of his games and was super impressed by how dominant he was looking after each game. Portland has gone into the tank since he went down as well losing there last 5 games
Especially since he had already lost time in previous seasons as well. I was really looking forward to seeing a bigger WHL sample size from him and Lambert, and hopefully seeing them lead their teams far in the playoffs.

He was the best player on the ice, when they kicked our tails with Lucius

What is interesting is Portland was on fire even before Lucius showed up. Not sure what happened to the rest of the team

Any untouchables if Chevy tries to make the team better for a playoff run?

Assuming this is a one year run (not knowing what happens in the summer with Dubois, Scheifele and Helle) how scary is it to consider trading the likes of Lambert or Lucius or McGroarty or a 1st.

Glad I am not Chevy. This is tough decision times.

I would assume our 1st is in play but I’m not sure after that. It really depends on if its a rental or if we are talking hockey trade.
