Prospect Info: Jets Prospects

I'll start worrying more about Chaz when the same body part is injured multiple times. Up until then, I'll chalk it up to bad luck.

Its not like he's made out of some second-rate flesh.

Hope you're right - but there is such a thing as a player who is more breakable than average. It usually is NOT the same injury repeating. It is one thing, then another, then another ..........

I'll mention Buck Pierce again and more recently, Luke Green.

And let’s not forget Bogo. Brittle as they come. Still managed a career though.

Scott Wheeler of the Athletic did a top-50 ranking of NHL affiliated prospects

Jets have 2 in his top-50 - Mcgroarty (37) and Lucius (30)

Blue Jackets and the Wild had the most at 4.

Shocking having Hutson so high though he was just ok at the World Juniors. He is having a great season at BU.

I guess Perfetti would have been a top 10 guy if he wasn't in the NHL

I seen a partial list posted that had Lucious and McGroarty on it, but no sign of Heinola. You'd think Heinola should crack the top 50.

Perfetti graduated
Lambert and Heinola are included in the honorable mentions section.

My guess is Ville's inability to crack the lineup has worked against him. He's quickly approaching Wheeler's age 23 cutoff so as a result has likely dropped on his list.

My guess is Lambert jumps onto his next list if he continues his current WHL form.

Its a fair spot for him. He has Broberg right at the end of that ranking from the same draft.

I wanted Hutson so badly in the draft. I think he’s going to be a big star in this league.

I liked him as well but oh god would it have been tedious talking about a true "small" prospect on these forums

Salomonsson was starting to dominate at the SHL level before his injury and missing the WJC. I think if he had went there was a chance he could have made the list or honorable mentions or maybe near the bottom. I'm happy with that selection now.

Hutson is certainly more flashy and Wheeler loves him.
