I’m not sure if Lambert is actually “heating up” or not. He’s just over a point per game in six games and I know that’s a very small sample size. But he’s certainly not dominating right out of the gate like I hoped he would.
We’ll see. After playing with men these last few years, he should end up dominating in the WHL.

I always expected it would take a bit to really get into a rhythm offensively. This is a kid that hasn't scored a lot the last few years. He needs these puck touches to build an offensive foundation to his game.

What I've liked from the clips is he's taking what is given to him and making the correct reads and shots. If he keeps doing that he'll start to score more. He's a project in terms of fleshing our his game.

I think playing against men for the last two years hurt him especially offensively. Scheif didn’t dominate in his draft +1 season either. Brad is now playing with his peers and as a late 1st round pick his pedigree is not elite IMO. So far he is doing about what I was expecting.

Watched the last 3 games and he has been dominating just not putting up the points yet. If he keeps playing the way he has we will see many multiple point games coming. Seattle had 50+ shots yesterday and probably should have scored 5 more goals but Spokanes goalie was really good. The night before Everett played pretty good but "parked the bus" the rest of the game and really stymied Seattle.

Appreciate your thoughts! I haven't gotten a chance to see Lambert in person yet (We go to Saturday Home games only).

That fine as far as I’m concerned. 2 years gives him ample time to round out his game. He’s good, but hasn’t hit that next level there yet. Whether he does or doesn’t remains to be seen. He’d still be younger than what Kuzmenko was coming over.

I agree. Next two seasons he plays as a 23 and 24 year old in the KHL and if he progresses to the point he could play in the NHL then he would arrive in Winnipeg as a soon to be 25 year old. I think that timeline is pretty pragmatic.

Rashevsky contract will end when he's 25 right. So what does this do for his nhl ELC? It'd be for 2 years prior to ufa right?

Lambert looks incredible in the last two games. I think as he gets into the groove he'll be even more dominant. His speed and his shot will get him far.

Yup and it looks like he's starting to use it correctly and in thebright places and at the right times.

How's his playmaking look?

Is there a place where we can watch replays of WHL games? Or just highlights?

You can watch highlights on WHL.ca after the games are done they usually have a package up. You can also order WHL Live. I have that for 120 bucks for the year. I think they offer monthly passes now for 29 bucks for all the CHL. Never checked into though so don't quote me on that one. I am pretty sure the entire league have mandated better camera's because all the teams in house feeds are really good now.

The whl is going to be a barn burner the next two months! But what Jon said they do have highlights on the website, and if you follow the birds Twitter they have highlights there as well.

Looks like the WHL/CHL is going to call lambert’s shots, Lambert lasers lol

Hopefully the T-Birds go on a great run! It's great to get your updates on Lambert.
