I dont think it is honestly. Russian coaches just like to roll with 4 lines and evenly distribute ice time. It's the coaching system that's been used much to the dismay of many Russian NT fans over the years. Dynamo Moscow is stacked in that league and it's a good thing Rashevsky is producing in that league with that ice time. With Shipachev gone those mins will more than likely go to him later on in the season.
The ice time hasn't been evenly distributed though.

Good to see him getting the icetime he deserves. Hopefully Chibrikov forces his way in at some point.
Or gets sent down. They don't seem to want Chibrikov and Svechkov in at the same time and even when he's in he's not getting much in the way of ice time. Would rather he be playing more minutes in a lesser league than sitting in the K.

Yeah the second division might be best for him atm.

Looking forward to seeing Saku Mäenalanen in Jets training camp. He had a really good season last year for Karpat Liiga. Big, fast, hard to play against. I think he slots in nicely on the third line, could move up in a pinch.

Does anybody know of a site that has J20 Nationell boxscores? I know Wagner has played 3 games and has 1 assist but I'm struggling to find stats for individual games.

Upon further research he has actually been sent down already. He's now playing for Khimik Voskresensk in the VHL.

EDIT: But the only game he's played in the V was on the 7th, he's played more recently in the K. So f***ed if I know where he is now
Update: Chibrikov is playing in the KHL on the 2nd line today.

EDIT: Despite being listed on the second line, he's on pace for 8 minutes TOI halfway through the game.

EDIT2: Rashevsky scores early in the 3rd on the power play to tie the game at two. His line is again leading the time on attack and him and O'Dell have combined for 8 of the team's 20 shots.

I think we are going to like Rashevsky. I'm wondering though, how well he will translate to the NHL. Will he be a 2nd line winger? Or will he be a 3rd line scorer? He could become a forechecker like Tanev.

With his skill level and tenacity for the puck I think sky is the limit for him. All that matters is if he can adjust to the pace and NHL rinks.

I love that he has such a nose for the net. We really need a couple players like that.
Good to see that he’s still keeping up his pace from last year.
I’m curious what is his skating like for those that have followed him closely?

He has top 6 player written all over him of he can translate. I think he might be able to walk right onto out second line RW spot next year.
