Either NHL, AHL with the Moose, or WHL with PortlandWhere’s Lucius the playing this year?
So with Perfetti, Lucius, and Chibrikov being out is it just Lambert and Torgersson playing Juniors from the Jets' system?
No one answered this question from a week ago. The Jets have just two prospects playing in the 2022 U20 World Juniors. So with Perfetti, Lucius, and Chibrikov being out is it just Lambert and Torgersson playing Juniors from the Jets' system?
If I have a new car by then I'll probably drive out, mine's on the fritz right now.Anyone going to this in penticton? I may drive up from Vancouver for a game if anyone wants to join.
Salomonsson has 1G1A in the 3rd period in the first preseason game of the season for his SHL team. They're up 3-0. He's playing 2nd pair.
Yeah it's pretty rare to see a defender play in the SHL at 17, often means they have a pretty developed defensive game, and he's put up some pretty impressive offensive numbers in the U20 league on top of that including being over a point per game at 16.I have pretty big hopes for this kid. He's got the natural ability if he can put it altogether.
From what I gathered, his focus last season was almost entirely on his defense. So his offense was a bit lost in the shuffle, and his defense wasn't anything to write home about. That's how you drop from being discussed as a top 10 prospect, to the middle of the 2nd round. Well, we're in dire need of defensemen who can actually play defense well. Developing a good offensive game to pair with that would be amazing on the right side. The SHL has been cranking out defensemen and is a really good pro league, he'll develop wonderfully in Sweden. From what I gathered, his focus last season was almost entirely on his defense. This is the guy I wonder about. The Jets have had 4 U.S born 1st round picks now leave college at 19 years old. Trouba went straight to the Jets. Connor started on the Jets, in what seemed to be some tacit agreement to give him so many games, because his game wasn't there, then was demoted and never really looked back after getting back up. Roslovic started on the Moose at 19, played a full season, and worked his way up by the time he was 21 (January birthday). I'd say there is a chance that Lucius gets some time around the Jets at the beginning of the season, to integrate him, much like what was done with Perfetti last year. I could see a player like Connor taking him under his wing. It's possible he goes the Roslovic route too, I haven't watched enough of him to know where his game is at. One thing is there is usually a carrot for college players to leave early, that carrot isn't the signing bonus, restricted in the CBA, which covers a new car, but a few NHL games is good for the pocket book.Where’s Lucius the playing this year?
I wonder mostly about his skating. This is the guy I wonder about. The Jets have had 4 U.S born 1st round picks now leave college at 19 years old. Trouba went straight to the Jets.
