I know he was getting PP time to start the USHL season but apparently he's both been demoted from the 3rd line to the 4th and might not be getting PP minutes anymore.

The Stampede's 1st line C went 10 picks later than Zach Nehring to the Bruins.

Listed at 6'3", I think there was talk that his grandparents are from Winnipeg or something

The Bruins pick I mentioned who's leading their USHL team in scoring is 6'1" though, so it's not like he's 5'6" or something.

McGroarty brings a lot more than good "vibes" to the table. He has high end hockey sense, very good puck skills, and a good motor.

I think he is going to fit in real nicely with Perfetti. Put someone on the right side with some speed (Lambert) and I think you have a real nice line in the future.

Really liking the group of forwards we’ve got coming up over the next few years. With Scheifele locked in, hopefully we can extend Connor and (I’m assuming this one to be less likely, but) Ehlers and we should have a fairly decent forward group.

Lucius, McGroarty, Barlow, Chibrikov, Lambert, Perfetti, Scheifele, (Connor, Ehlers) is a solid nine.

Rashevsky and Zhilkin are interesting to follow as well.

I’m less excited with Rashevsky as I was a couple years ago.
He just hasn’t seemed to improve over the last couple years. He started out well but seems kind of stuck there.
Hopefully he takes his game to the next level.

Yeah, him seemingly plateauing combined with the fact that I’m not sure he ever comes over has him firmly placed in the lower tier now of prospects I’m excited for

He sure looks good in highlights but his production has actually dropped off the last couple of years.

Salomonsson vs Wagner earlier today. No points for Salomonsson in a 3-1 win, but Wagner picked up his first SHL point.

As far as Rashevsky goes, our deepest position on the team is wing, we have two great 1st round prospects on the wing, Chibrikov is already over here and younger...

I imagine Rash gets added on to a deal like Nathan Smith type of thing

I dont see why Rash wouldn’t after his contract is up. He wants to be a KHL developed and pro player before he comes over NHL ready and it was a good development decision. I dont trade him unless its in a package for a good player.

It's not that Rashevsky may not be good enough. It's that we have so many guys ahead of him already and prospects that will likely be given priority. Never say never though!

I think Salomonsson could be really good. Samberg looks like a D stud. Heinola with some strong signs. Not as deep as the F prospects, but you need half as many D.
