Just realized Milic was sent down to Norfolk and tried to figure out when their season starts. Went to their roster page, and spotted this.

Surely we can make an educated guess as to what position these two players play, Norfolk?

It is looking like he could have been a useful offensive player but could not fit himself into the mold Jets wanted.

It is looking like he could have been a useful offensive player but could not fit himself into the mold Jets wanted.

probably doesn't matter much now. Liiga seems to be trending down in terms of league quality so even if he tears it up I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

Do the Jets retain his rights? I don't see him fitting into the Jets' pipeline now, with McGroarty, Barlow, Lambert, Chibrikov, Lucius, but if he looks like a bona fide NHL prospect maybe the Jets can get a pick for him?

Yes they tendered him a Qualifying Offer this summer so they continue to own his rights.

I see him as a throw in in a potential deadline trade if it happens.

Really rough game for DiVincentiis last night, 7 goals against on 24 shots. Down to .910sv% on the season.

Julien with 1G1A so far, seems to be picking it up a bit.

Barlow with a short-handed goal.

Really hope Barlow can start racking up some assists as well to go with that goal scoring. A good number of assists in juniors is a pretty good indicator of hockey-iq at that level.

Crosschecked a Rögle player in the face in front of the net. Stupid but not malicious. There's a video on the SHL website attached to the disciplinary committee's decision. Too bad the formal decision isn't visible, it usually also contains the player's explanation for what happened.
