I share your optimism, Aggie. We probably haven't seen a Moose team with this amount of talent in nearly two decades. The 04-05 NHL lockout version of the Moose with Auld, Bieksa, Burrows, Kesler, King and Koltsov might be closest comparable

Well, looks like being sick with "the flu" didn't slow him down the way it seemed to slow down certain Jets who had been sick with "the flu".
Welp, went back to the SHL. Guess it was just because it was him wanting to and Jets obliging, development standpoint would have been better getting acclimated here on the moose I feel.

When you had DD ranked as your top prospect, did you do so based on what you consider his probability of making the team one day, or one what you believe his ceiling to be? In other words, do you consider him a boom/bust prospect?
Probability and ceiling. I believe he has high end starter potential. He has the size, technique and tracking. So I have him as a prospect with an upper end ceiling at a very valuable position. That to me puts him with Salomonsson as the only other prospect imo that has top of roster potential at a valuable position.
I think with Euro prospects often it makes more sense to let them develop at home. Let them worry about getting better in a comfortable environment and worry about getting acclimated to North America once they are more pro ready.

Julien gets his 1st point of the season, an assist, in his 5th game. He's been moved from 3rd line center to 2nd line wing.

McGroarty and Barlow could be very nice additions to the Jets in the next year or two.
I wouldn't be surprised to see McGroarty signed end of his season this year and inserted to the roster.
