And I hope this helps a few people here understand and accept why our many Finnish posters were Laine fans first and Jets fans second... or not at all. Who knows, one day Lambert might bring them all back. Wouldn't that be great? I miss those guys.
I think I might go to one of the games this weekend.

I don't think you can really conclude that any player has hit their ceiling at 23.
In any case, sad to see him go. Still under Jets control and in a league where he doesn't have to wait for his contract to finish to come back if he wants. He'll make more money in DEL than the AHL and considering he was #10 on the defensive depth chart he probably wasn't about to get NHL pay anytime soon. Hopefully Kuzmin can fill the offensive void for the Moose.
Yeah the Moose may lose a lot of defensive scoring next year. I don't expect Chisholm or Heinola to be back one way or the other.

He's signed for 2 more years in the SHL. He could still come over, but I doubt there's much incentive for him to right now. He'll get more money playing closer to home and wouldn't get a call-up unless the Jets get a few injuries on the back end or make some moves.
