He also has a significant size advantage over Comrie and Berdin. Perhaps I've got the rose colored glasses on, but I look at DD as a different class of prospect than those guys.

Comrie - 6'1
Berdin - 6'2
DD - 6'2
That is if you trust those numbers.

It would be his overage season I think as he's a late birthday, but with the missed season not sure how it works. He's still eligible to play there I think though players his age normally move to the AHL unless they're undrafted.

Speaking of AHL :

Those are some impressive numbers.
It is time to either make room for him or get a good return trading him.

No reason not to give the kid all of next season to sink or swim. It's be great if we could unload Schmidt's contract --there is nothing he brings that Heinola does not already possess, at $5M less.

DiVincentiis has saved 11 of 13, but North Bay is up 6-2 and is outshooting Peterborough 38-13, which has been a rare event for them so far these playoffs.

1-0 North Bay after the first. Home ice advantage has been real this series. At home the most shots they've given up is 27, away the least they've given up is 39.

EDIT: 2-2 near the end of the 2nd.
