Does anyone know - can Zhilkin go back to juniors next season?

It would be his overage season I think as he's a late birthday, but with the missed season not sure how it works. He's still eligible to play there I think though players his age normally move to the AHL unless they're undrafted.

He also has a significant size advantage over Comrie and Berdin. Perhaps I've got the rose colored glasses on, but I look at DD as a different class of prospect than those guys.

I never thought Berdin looked small but haven't seen much of him. Comrie always looked small.

No reason not to give the kid all of next season to sink or swim. It's be great if we could unload Schmidt's contract --there is nothing he brings that Heinola does not already possess, at $5M less.
