suppose to start skating on the 27th so maybe soon afterHow long until Samberg is back?
Really happy with the recent play, but I don’t think anyone can consider us a favorite, when we cannot beat Vegas.
Actually I think this board is more obsessed losing to the Leafs than Leaf fans losing to the Jets ... seriously its so childish.Took a peek at the Leafs' thread hoping to see the bitterness and gnashing of teeth that is anticipated from that fanbase when losing to the Jets. Was surprised to find out that this wasn't the case.
Missed most of the game because, darn it, I had to work! Still followed along with all of you on HFJets, so I guess I wasn't working too hard. Great to see the Jets beat the Laffs, can't get enough of that! Even better to see Jets Nation invade Scotiabank Arena and show them what it's like. I give the game four "crying Laffs fans" out of five...
The Prediction Contest for the game against Ottawa has been posted for your guesses. I tabulated the points and do you know what?
Yes indeed, not just one but two trifectas today! Congratulations to @TheHead and @LowLefty for correctly predicting that the Jets would win 5-2 and that Kyle Connor would score the first goal of the game. Way to go you two!
The Jets don't play until Saturday, and that game is available if you would like to make a GDT. I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and I will see you all on the weekend! Good night...
Leafs fans take losing a lot better than we do hereTook a peek at the Leafs' thread hoping to see the bitterness and gnashing of teeth that is anticipated from that fanbase when losing to the Jets. Was surprised to find out that this wasn't the case.
^^^Teams like this don't happen often, you should let yourself be way more positive about the Jets this season. They really can't do much better so far than they have.
Last telecast they said he might start skating soon so we will have to wait for a bit still, hope it all goes well and he gets back on the ice sooner rather than later.

Blocked a shot suffered a broken footWhat do we know about his injury? I can't remember.
I’ve said this a few times, but this is exactly how they were both playing during our historic run. They have to continuously buy in for us to be this type of team. Both KC and Scheif have bought into the defensive part of the game. Both are mostly on the right side of the puck and a lot of their offense is coming off of good defensive play. Man I hope we are playing like this come mid April.
I really liked a lot of what I saw. He makes really quick decisions and has great passing.Looks like Heinola will get an extended look.
I’m honestly not even thinking about playoffs. I’m really just enjoying each game now.Agreed it will ultimately come down to the playoffs, but game in and game out this regular season this one hell of a fun team to follow. They are playing a real fun brand of hockey to watch.
And here I have been told over and over again how we have turned to shit over the last 10 games. And just like that the top team in the last 10 games in the league are the Winnipeg Jets with a record of 7-2-1.
If Utah beats Dallas tonight they will have a 7-1-2 record.
Cheers bud!
Sens, Knights, and Oilers are 8-2-0.And just like that the top team in the last 10 games in the league are the Winnipeg Jets with a record of 7-2-1.
