Seattle wins in OT and and Flames are 3 up on the Ducks, those were vital points the Jets got tonight
Agreed. If everyone wins, we still benefit as it is another game that comes off the board with us in control of our destiny. I know I lot of people around here have a collective stick stuck up their ass, but a stretch run for a playoff spot is still fun if you let it be.

Of course you are correct about this being the Jets board, but obviously this board is not the only place I rant about hockey :P and while I agree with you that most everyone understands the oilers are top-3 heavy, even acknowledging that, "being carried by a player in an ordinary position" seems to have much less "luck stigma" associated with it among most fans than "being carried by a player in a special position"; I'm talking about a trend across all teams, across all fanbases, across all sports.

That’s a long ass sentence….. speaking of ass; here’s a cat dragging ass

Trying to get a playoff spot might be the best thing for this team to get out of this funk it's like everyone not named Nino Helle and Joshua game has gone in the tank. We need to start seeing a more consistent effort and what better time then this road trip.

I've been more engaged in this home stretch run than in most years I can think of. I'm up late at night playing video games on my XBox while it's simultaneously running the TuneIn Radio app so I can listen to the Kings / Flames game.

I don't think anyone can dispute the battle level of Adam Lowry. There's a guy who is wearing that letter with a purpose. Does anyone find it odd that the GWG came at a disadvantage, while the man advantage was a test of Jets fans patience? There's some leaders who just don't have the dig or the urgency in them right now, and that's very concerning. At what point does Bones put the checking line out for the PP, and just bench the entire starting unit minus Morrissey?

Nice to see Neal Pionk make a big play to set up the shorty, better game from #4...nice to see Capobianco get into the lineup as well, though maybe not the kind of performance that makes it hard to take him out of the lineup.

Getting outshot and outplayed by the Coyotes for 2 periods was embarrassing. I think some players are making this team hard to cheer for, and it seemed hard to get any cheers going...I think as fans we want these guys to succeed but you are not going to fool our fanbase with a half hearted effort.

So I'm not the only one thinking of bikinis and speedos appearing here tomorrow?

Yeah, some may call it creepy. Some of us think ass dragging memes are creepy.
I don't get the constant references to ass dragging animals. And no, I'm not looking to be clued in.

I think Voyageur in #86 makes an excellent comment on our (lack of) powerplay.

Also think that Appleton continues to be a waste of space. I've been replaying the great set-up he had at the crease with about 3 minutes left and ..... he's useless.

Despite the lack of Axel, we played a great first period and then stunk for the last two. But a win is a big win when Nashville and Calgary are panting at our heels.

Agreed on the Apples comment, I've thought that he has done absolutely nothing for several games now. Not sure what has happened with him as he used to be a much more impactful player.

Fskers at SportsNet are robbing me of this one ... Grrrrrr.
I am certain this wouldn't happen to the Leaf broadcast.

For all my money, as long as the bikinis and the speedos appear in fair and proportionate numbers, there's nothing wrong with a salacious infusion to our fanbase :)

The jets power play is WAY better if you play this as their soundtrack each time...
