But what good is doing this in the offseason when you never know year to year if you will be a true contender? It looks like this team is a contender. Be bold. Ride them both until the deadline and then pull the trigger on dealing Ullmark. We have already seen the Ullmark/Swayman playoff pretzel two years in a row where two different coaches have gone with Ullmark to start and then you are trying to identify the right time to insert Swayman in a short best of 7 series. Eliminate that issue entirely.There is almost no question that one of them is getting dealt in the offseason, most likely Ullmark.The Bruins need that cap space to bolster their forward group.
