The kicker is that he took the team to arbitration.
It is clear that he was not prepared on what to expect in the hearing and when the Bruins came in and presented their case he had to hear some tough things that he's still bothered by 8 months later.
No one likes hearing negative things about their performance and no one likes the feeling of being underpaid or asked to take a pay cut. It sucks and I can see why it still grinds his gears. I just don't understand why he felt the need to bring it up.
He's eligible for an extension as of 1/1 so hopefully both sides are talking and a deal will get done.

It was his only right available to offset the Bruins only making him a qualifying offer.
If he was my client, or kid, I would have told himthe same. The Bruins then had time to negotiate beyond that QO.. For whatever reason they couldn’t collectively find a solution.
Then, I believe, the Bruins chose 1 year instead of 2 year’s arbitration.
Bet theyre kicking them selves in the ass now.
