Mailloux, Kidney and Roy signed their ELCs already, so they should count toward the contract limit.

Farrell is coming at the end of the year unless he doesn't want to play here.

Dobes is a maybe, I'd sign him if he dominates again this year behind OSU.

Hutson will spend another season in the NCAA at minimum.

Trudeau looks like a good bet to at least get an AHL deal this year.

Think Pitlick won't be signed unless they do the Stapley.

Struble has to be signed.

Then you'd expect our 2 x 2023 1st rounders to be signed post draft.
Tuch perhaps?

Junior-aged players who go back do not count in the 50. This year, Mailloux, Kidney, Roy and Beck do not count. Beck will not count next year either. Mesar and Slaf - it depends if they play pro or Junior this year and next.

We are actually at 46 with Slaf and Mesar and without Mailloux.

Is anyone keeping an eye on his play? He was my favorite prospect about a year ago. I still have high hopes for him, but it's been silent on his front.

I had high expectation for Struble, but it's now melting as fast as Norlinder. I'm praying so hard that I won't tell this to Engstrom and Hutson a year or two from now.

Struble has never really shown that much and much like Norlinder the two just can't stay healthy. But I would wait and see for Norlinder as it can take time to adjust to the smaller ice and he's barely played in North America so far. Struble we'll see as he has NHL strength, speed, skating, mobility, physical game, big shot, can move the puck. I don't know what that turns into, but there are enough tools to develop something imo.

Still waiting for that Struble explosion we were promised....

Pleased all of Romanov, Guhle, Xhekaj, and Harris as looking good so far. We knew not all the d prospects would make it.

If Barron and Mailloux live up to the hype we're in really good shape.

At this point with Struble, I hope he can be an Edmundson style stay at home dman. They don't grow on trees, so I'm.not expecting it. But one can always hope.

Struble is definitely not a stay at home dman. He plays a similar game to Xhekaj.

Xhekaj has 8 points lol, and he leads all Habs Dmen in goals, Hits, fights and shots on goal.

We signed him 2 years ago.
